Beep or Boop got a reaction from OddOod in Fuzzy audio
I do want to keep my goxlr in the loop because it has features that I just enjoy too much to get rid of. I ended up buying this on amazon before you posted. It's essentially the same thing as the one you linked correct?

Ok thanks. I'll try and wait for some more opinions before I blindly try it.

I see. So nothing is wrong. It’s just how laptops are.

Beep or Boop got a reaction from CryingWimp in DDR4 3600 CL14 Low Profile?
Hey guys, as the title says that's what i'm looking for. I google a bit and can't seem to find anything. I just purchased my Noctua NH-D15's and the extra fan won't fit because of my RAM. Using this set of sticks 4x8GB.
Edit: I might be able to get away with using clipping the fan higher up on the heat sink. Just looking to upgrade soon and figured i'd look for something like this.

Beep or Boop got a reaction from da na in Building OLD computers
Yeah sorry. I'm just trying to make a PC, under these specs, within the budget. I'm only used to building PC's with current/newer equipment. Helping myself and my buddies build gaming PC's.

Looking up specs for Windows 7, it says minimum would be 1 GHz, and that CPU is 2.4

Hmmm, I could do that. Just I have always just had a bad time buying used computer parts. Also it has to be a 32bit operating system. So I could use windows 7.

Sorry if this isn't the best place to put this post but I couldn't find another spot. I'm trying to help a family member build an older computer to use in his business controlling some machinery. Going to attach a photo of what the specs are, but i'm having some struggles getting the whole together since I don't have a spec sheet of a built computer, just the specifications of what they need. Trying to keep the whole build to around $500-$600. Gonna attach some links to what i'm looking at already. Mainly struggling to make sure I can get the 2 ethernet, 2 serial and 1 parallel port on it. I only got into building computers in the last 7ish years and I don't know if I'll be needing PCIe cards for this or what. Any help would be amazing, thank you so much guys.
Spec sheet
CPU, I was thinking about getting.

Beep or Boop reacted to minibois in 1080 testing?
You can try it out in a program like 3DMark (the free demo on Steam will work fine) and see if the scores you are getting in the graphics part are up to par with what others are getting with that videocard.

Seems like you are getting a lower score than most people using this hardware. This is the lowest score I found with a GTX 1080 and R7 2700x:
https://www.3dmark.com/spy/5960332
About 25% better performance on the videocard, 33% on CPU.
Can you run a program like HWInfo64 while doing the benchmark to see what kind of temperatures you are getting?

HWInfo64 is a program to keep an eye on the temperatures and clock speeds of your CPU and GPU.
Click on 'Sensors' in the top left of the program, scroll down until you find the temperature section of your CPU (that was about halfway through the page for me), right click, show graph.
Scroll down some more until you find your videocard temps (about 4/5ths down the page) and do the same.
Maybe open the graphs for GPU Clock (couple columns under the videocard temp section) too.
These graphs should show some info on how your system is running.
What is your memory running at, by the way? Go to Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) > Performance > Choose RAM on the left side > See 'Speed' on the bottom right. It should say 1465Mhz or higher for you.
