  1. I guess at this point. Any recommendations for a good monitor? 1440p 144hz?
  2. Just cleaner I bought online and a microfiber cloth
  3. I tried to be rather soft, but gave it a little pressure while holding the back. Since it's on a monitor arm and would swing if I gave it any pressure at all. I may have gotten to much liquid on the panel? I don't know.
  4. So I cleaned my monitor last night right before I went to bed and didn't notice any damage. I got back home from work today and just realized that there are 3-4 lines of colors on my screen now. Don't really know how that happened because I was rather soft with my cleaning. Went to LG chat to find out that I'm out of warranty and the repair would be $350, while the monitor is $310 right now. So now i'm just SOL and i'm bummed lol. This is my monitor and here is a picture of the damage.
  5. Ahhhh I see, and no I already returned my broken headphones and got a refund. The ones that I have now with the not so optimal sound routing has the USB-C charging. My old ones that broke has the microUSB. So that link that I sent is what you were talking about? Maybe not those specific ones, but that concept.
  6. You were talking about buying magnetic adaptor cables. Which just reminded me of this. Then you talked about soldering and you lost me.
  7. Ok, maybe I confused myself a bit. Because I was imaging what I've seen before with phone chargers. Where you would plug, lets say lighting port plug into an iphone which has a magnetic cap, and then you would have a USB cable with the opposite magnetic side. But when you talk about soldering it brings up a whole other step. Which might be sweet because I've been wanting to learn how to solder ever since my PS4 HDMI port has broke.
  8. Ahhh I’ve seen those that makes sense. I’m just struggling to find decent headphones with a dock/hub that have in/out jacks like I need. Come to find out the original headset that I had is out of production. But I can still get it on Newegg new. Might have to just go back to ol’ reliable.
  9. Hey guys, just wanted to stop by here and get your guys opinion on some gaming headsets. I had the arctis 7s and I loved them. The micro usb port ended up breaking and I couldn't charge it, so I figured I would get the upgrade and go for the arctis 7+. Has USB C instead of micro usb which is a big upgrade (I hate micro usb). But I ran into some trouble. The original 7s had a puck that would plug into the computer. And from that puck it had a line in/out that went great, because I could take that right into my GoXLR. But now, the newer 7+s just have a USB C dongle that goes straight into the PC. So I have to take a 3.5mm jack from the GoXLR to the line in on my motherboard. Looked up a guide for this and it's working fine now. But now my big problem is, whenever I have my playback from my microphone. It has an almost half a second delay, which before it had almost no delay. Which i'm guessing is just because i'm now plugging the 3.5mm jack into the motherboard instead of into the headsets puck. If that delay is something I can fix that would be awesome. If not, what kind of wireless headsets would you guys recommend that have a 3.5mm in/out ports? Also sorry for the ramble.
  10. Appreciate the advice and that is the one that I'm going to get.
  11. Thank you sir! My current case does not support my NH-D15, can't put my side panel back on and it's been bugging me!
  12. In the latest Intel Upgrade video, I really like Jakes white case. Any idea which case that is?
  13. So I’m moving cross country and am having to ship my pc. I have taken out my SSDs, HDD and my GPU. Is it a stupid idea to leave my CPU and cooler in it? Was thinking of putting soft clothes in it like a scuffed expanding foam. If this is a bad idea please let me know lol. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys
  14. Hey guys, I was looking at the ROG STRIX B450 Aorus Wifi's manual and noticed that in the manual it shows it has two slots. One being a max of 110mm and the other max of 80. I'm about to buy two of these and want to make sure that i'm not screwing myself. I think they are the 80mm length, and if you guys could confirm that i'm correct or incorrect that would be awesome. Thanks!
  15. So I won't see any performance uplift going for 3200 or 3400?
  16. Budget (including currency): 300$-400$ USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: MMO's, FPS, FGC Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Just looking for any suggestions on what RAM I should be getting. I want good sticks that are maybe not the absolute cream of the crop. Maybe a little under then that. Looking for something to last me if I ever upgrade to newer generations and DDR5. AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - ROG STRIX B450 Aorus Wifi - 4x8GB 288-Pin DDR4 3000 G.Skill Ripjaws V Series - Corsair RM850x 850 Watt - Founders Edition 3080 TI - 2 x Samsung Evo 1TB SATA SSD's
  17. Hey guys, I was looking at upgrading my build if I found any good deals this upcoming week and was curious what you guys were thinking. Currently my RAM is the oldest thing in my rig, so I am looking to get better/faster sticks. So I would love some suggestions on what you guys think I should get with my current setup. And the second is looking to get my first m.2 drive. The jump from HDD to sata SSD is absolutely huge. What is the performance jump from sata to m.2? Also suggestions on which m.2 drives to get would be nice, but hopefully the Samsung m.2's get a good deal. Thanks for any and all advice! AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - ROG STRIX B450 Aorus Wifi - 4x8GB 288-Pin DDR4 3000 G.Skill Ripjaws V Series - Corsair RM850x 850 Watt - Founders Edition 3080 TI - 2 x Samsung Evo 1TB SATA SSD's
  18. Going through tons of videos and i'm a little bit confused. When using a GoXLR why would I need a USB sound card to also plug into it, while extracting the optical audio? Every video shows using one of them. Because I don't care about any other audio or party chat. All I want is the PS5 game audio routed into my GoXLR so that I can listen to it in my headphones while talking to people on discord. So they don't have to hear my TV while i'm playing and I like playing games with a headset.
  19. I was just looking around and saw this video Don't know if that will work well. I live kind of far out of town, so I wanna make sure I know what I wanna buy before I go into town to buy it. If I have a valid solution that is.
  20. Would a 3.5mm aux splitter work? Splitter plugs into the GoXLR, then one side plugs from the headset while the other plugs in from the controller itself. Maybe that's not how you would set it up, but just figuring out of a splitter would work.
  21. Dang, so not super easy options. What a pain in the butt. Thanks
  22. Hey guys, trying to figure out if anything is possible here. So i'm running my Arctis 7's into my GoXLR which is then running into my PC. Is there anyway that i'm able to get my PS5 into this mix so that I am still able to hear my PC, so I can talk to my buddies on discord, while playing my PS5?
