  1. I was looking around on passmark and noticed that this pc (in image provided) had an extremely high score, beating out threadrippers with 2080ti's even though it had an old i7 and a 1060. I then noticed the cpu frequency of 11ghz. Is this an error or some overclock that has surpassed all others.
  2. Hello, I’m brand new to this site but I’ve been a pc enthusiast for about a year now. I’ve been watching Linus for a fair amount of time and have had opportunities to tinker around with old PCs and laptops and I decided to build my first pc from scratch. I plan on building this on the side over the course of 2019 and have a max budget of around $1100-$1400 (Monitor and peripherals already taken care of). I already decided that I want to go with either the ryzen 7 2700 or 2700x, although I need some guidance on what GPU and other components I should get. I currently have an MSI gf63 8rd (laptop) with a i5 8300h, 1050 ti (Max-Q), and 16gb of ram. I want a machine that can run whatever I throw at it. My current laptop can run most things at high without dipping below 60fps, but I want to run games like Final Fantasy 15 at high graphics, as my current laptop can only run that at 50 FPS on medium graphics. As far as hardware goes, the only thing picky about is that I would like to keep either a red and black or just black theme, rgb is ok as long as the colors can be controlled. I would really appreciate if you guys could assist me and lend and tips on my hardware and actual construction of the PC. Thanks!
