I put this together and you still save money

just get a 7800XT and save yourself a lot of money. Nvidia is too scummy and just a rip off. With AMD's new fluid motion frames you can get high FPS on lower tier cards on games that support DX11 and DX12.

fade2black001 got a reaction from Jonas_amine in need help if this is a good compatible build for the price
I do not know how pricing works for your country but what you want to do with the build seems more than fine. That PSU seems to be low tier and I would choose something else if possible. The website doesn't seem to want to load for me. On this site is a PSU tier list though that you can look at. As for the GPU... It seems like a decent brand. It's a well known Chinese brand of GPU. So that should be fine

fade2black001 got a reaction from Needfuldoer in cant open a CD-R
You don't format CD's man. It doesn't work unless it's an RW disc. Even then I don't think you are able to format them. In order to burn files to a disc....
Open the drive with the disc in it
Copy files to the drive
then you right click on the drive and there should be an option to burn the files
I'm shocked your teacher asked for CD's and not Flash Drives.

fade2black001 got a reaction from rotexen in LG C2 OLED 42" pc monitor is great
I'm using a Samsung SC90 and it's great.
Also how do people use something that big as a monitor and not get a kink in their neck from sitting like 6 inches away from the screen? Constantly looking left and right surely must put strain on the neck. I'm back a good 6 feet from my screen and I can barely see the screen at once and it's 55 inches

fade2black001 got a reaction from Dedayog in I think I need a new HSF
Since I game at 4k my CPU usage is pretty low to begin with. I don't think I really needed to do this but its nice to see my max Wattage I seen it get to is 55w. I'm sure with gaming I wont ever notice the performance hit. Only in benchmarking where it would really show. In Cinebench I went from a score of 4430 down to a 4130. Big whoopie do.... lol

I find this pointless to do honestly. I mean to give you real numbers. My cinebench score went from 4430 down to 4130. For me gaming at 4k I won't ever notice the performance hit ever in gaming.

I don't have it set to auto and there hasn't been an update for a while either.

yes and some other stuff.
I set the CPU to eco mode with a CTD of 65w. Then I set the PBO offset for all cores with a negative value of 30 and then undervolt the CPU by .05 volts. Shockingly the performance loss is very minimal

Makes sense. So I just need a router. I get it. Thanks

fade2black001 got a reaction from ebprince the computer nerd in Beats Studio3 Headset Review
Did Beats improve the quality of the audio in them. Out of all the Beats I have ever used they were literally crap. The mids and highs sounded like crap. They had no bass to them whatsoever and I have used headphones that were 30 bucks that sounded immensely better. At one point in time someone broke down the parts used in beats and came out to be 15 bucks and they were selling them for 300. As from what I gather Beats are a colossal waste of money and a 30 dollar pair of phones from a well known audio company like JVC will blow Beats out of the water. It has been well known that Beats suck, but people still use them for what reason I do not know. I guess they have more money than sense.

fade2black001 got a reaction from CommanderAlex in Is 16gb of ram still good with 4070
Wow.... It's gotten even cheaper now. I remember back during the RAM shortage I paid like 170 bucks for a 16GB stick. After that I thought 72 bucks for a stick of 16GB 3200 for 72 bucks was cheap. Now you can 32 gigs for 50 bucks...

fade2black001 got a reaction from ItTakes2ToMango in Can not copy files to a folder saying I need permission but it says I have full control over said folder
So after checking the permissions of the folder it says I have full control over it but yet I don't. This has to be a bug right? I'm like WTF?!?

I seemed to have fixed it with your suggestion. Thanks

Way to go off topic and derail my thread bro

fade2black001 got a reaction from Dedayog in 7900XT or 7900XTX
You mention a game that is extremely poorly optimized. So of course a 6900XT is going to have problems with it. If he does go the 1440P 120+ route an XTX will last him 5+ years

This sounds like a load hooey. It would make no sense why the manufacturer of the laptop would make the bios limit space for a drive

fade2black001 got a reaction from silencer12 in AMD driver problems?
I doubt this is the problem. Linus did a video where he was using a AMD card card and an Nvidia one simultaneously without any problems.

fade2black001 got a reaction from Milinko01 in AMD driver problems?
lol yeah
I have now uninstalled Nvidia and AMD drivers, restarted my system, Installed latest AMD Drivers and restarted again after that. Now only time will tell if this did anything

I'm doubtful it will fix anything but I'll give it a go
