    So many questions....

What do you mean you get a lot of CPU+Mobos to test? From where? To test for what? I take it they must all be APUs if you don't have a graphics card to test them now?

If you're testing them, why are you overclocking them? Are you testing what overclock they can achieve? if so and they're APUs yes, that can affect the situation because both video and general CPU tasks are being done on the same die, meaning more heat... and power requirement will be higher to start with.

yeah, who wouldnt think a G15 is nice. I've had my eyes on it but I think I need to save a bit more to get that. although the white definitely does have a more professional feel to it

100 or 200MHz is something, at least. It adds another ~.1 or ~.2 MHz. I've never oc'd before, hope it goes to plan. Also, welcome to the forums!

Yes, make sure you're using a downdraft cooler (i.e. fan blows downwards towards the motherboard) because the motherboard needs quite some airflow for cooling too.

It was small fft. Someone told me to use that over blend. On blend it gets to 66

Not really. The Phanteks ones are all probably excellent cases. I went with the 4000D (Edit: 4000D Airflow) because it is a very thoroughly reviewed case that many popular builders such as Gamers Nexus recommend. Also, I really like the look of it.
Nothing against Phanteks or anything. The P360A is my go to recommendation on a budget.

They're all Asetek pumps and radiators, the only difference between the AIO's is the logo's on the faceplate and the fans placed on the rads.
I congratulate your success with the NZXT variants, but they're all the same.

Drop the 11700k to a non k since the mobo doesn't support OCing, or up the board to a z590
get a better cooler if you up it to a z590
Consider changing the PSU to an Enermax Revolution DF, Corsair RM, or MSI AGF
    Just no.
The 9900K is slower, older, and a bad value.
Are you seriously recommending he buy an 10100 with integrated graphics on a build for a 1500 dollar budget?

They just use rebranded Asetek coolers with Gen 7 pumps, same with almost everyone else. I'm unaware of the "better pumps" you speak of.

This I can agree with though.

Yeah you certainly can. That cpu cooler is the best in class. Don't go beyond 1.35v, keep it under 75-80C if you want to oc for daily use.

S.Hamed23 reacted to AndreiArgeanu in Buying RTX 3070 for $1300: stupid?
I'd spend 200$ or so on a rx 480/580/470/570 or GTX 1060/1650/1650 super/970 or equivalent card, whichever is cheaper, and stick to that until the prices come back down. From my experience at least, my RX 480 is still able to play all the latest titles decently. I don't see a point to nearly paying RTX 3090 money for a 3070.

If you want to while you wait you can try to get a graphics card through other means like some of the raffles newegg makes, or maybe verfied actual gamer programme if it's still on or will continue, and whatever other options other retailers might offer so you can get a GPU at a semi-reasonable price.

Very Very Bad for long run. As it is a KS cpu, this golden boy should run way cooler than regular ones.
Don't try to push beyond 1.35v. Set llc to auto, current limit at full, cpu cache at max (dial in 9999999), multicore enhancement to disable, avx offset to zero, sync all cores. When you have a base line, go for per core tweak. OC should not exceed 78-80C under long heavy load
