  1. I currently have one of those speakers plugged into the board since there are no lights on board for errors
  2. Currently working on a ITX build for my relative using parts I had lying around and a new motherboard. I turned the system on Thursday (Today is Saturday) it was just to check if everything was working and it posted fine. Turned it off to work on installing Windows at a later day, that day was today. Plugged everything back in comes on fine, fans spin, RGB on RAM comes on and GPU turns on. But there is no post, no motherboard splash screen nothing and the speaker I have plugged into motherboard is not giving any errors. I have a feeling it is the CPU as it is quite old and has been sitting after I swapped it out from a build where the motherboard went bad at one point with it in it, I would just like to hear others opinions before I spend $100+. I've reseated the RAM and GPU. I've checked all cables are in properly for power on the motherboard and GPU. I've ran it with and without the GPU to see if it will post saying needs graphics. I've tried it with the SSD out. I've tried different RAM. I've tried with different monitors and cables. 3. Okay, I tried all that and it didn't work, still had to hold power and reset, but this time it didn't work and the vga light came on, I said screw it and went around my room and found 500 watt PSU out of another system, turned it on and cpu and ram lights turned back on, so now I believe it is the motherboard that's the problem, going to test my PSU in the other system to see if it might be both the motherboard and PSU.
  4. Been having problems with my computer for a month or two now, started happening when I plugged in my molex powered fan controller (now removed from system), when I did this the computer didn't start, it just sat there no fancy lights on the motherboard, but the CPU and RAM lights on the motherboard lit up, I had to hold down the reset and power button to get it to start back up. I thought everything was fine, but after a little bit of testing I have found out that the system stays fine and turns back on when shut down if I keep the power plug connected, as soon as I unplug and plug it back in then start it up, the problem comes back and I have to hold down the power and reset buttons to start it back up. Now i'm assuming its the power supply that's the problem(being that it was connected to the fan controller when it messed up), but just wanted to see if anyone would be able to offer help or thoughts on what the problem is.
