I've had one delivered today (The delivery driver was named Mario, it was perfect!), and they're like goldust. I ordered from Currys at 1am yesterday morning, so not sure if their stock got updated at midnight.
 
In the UK, your best bet is to check hotukdeals regularly as the usual suspects (Argos, Currys, Very, Smyths) seem to have regular deliveries, but are selling out quickly. The community are great at posting up whenever anyone has stock

I'll hold off until the service is installed and run cable through the house. I'll likely end up getting Mesh wifi to address the spotty wifi as well

I personally like cases around 9" wide since I know that the second fan that sits over the ram on the Dark Rock Pro 4(250w) and a Noctua NH-D15 will fit. 
 
The case that give me problems was a SilverStone Technology RL06BR-GP. The build quality of the case is fantastic but at only 7.87" wide it is a tight fit for a large tower cooler. 
The large cooler was needed since the CPU was a i9 9900k with an all core 5ghz overclock.  Even though only one fan on the D15 could fit the i9 9900k ran totally cool. What started out as a bit of a fitment disaster turned out to be a very successful build.   

The Dark Rock Pro 4(250w) does have clearance issues.
 
If your case was 8" wide or less the second fan will not fit. Since it is 8.54" it should fit.
 
For ram slots, some RGB ram is too tall for it. For example Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ram will not fit.
 
My Dark Rock Pro is sitting in its box because it would not fit over the RGB ram. Fortunately I had a Noctua NH-D15 lying around and it did fit over the ram but the second fan that sits over the ram was too tall for the case.  
 

Thankfully I've not got any RGB RAM, so there should hopefully be no issues there.
 
I'll probably pay a little more to buy from somewhere with a no-questions return policy

I suspected it should be fine, but after the hassle of dealing with AMD's RMA policy I'd like to make sure before I jump. Fingers crossed for a nice drop in temps and a lot less noise

As commonly used game engines get support for ray tracing it will become more popular, as well as a tipping point for AAA games when more gamers that have 1070's and 1060's for example upgrade.
 
Indie games will be a lot more hit and miss depending on available resources and whether or not they believe that the game will benefit from it.
 
If you're going to buy another GPU next year, I'd say RT is not a feature worth paying for. If it's something you value and you'll have the GPU for a couple of years or more, then it may be more of a consideration

Yes, but also to see if there are any significant performance gains to be had from driver updates in the meantime
 
The latest Nvidia drivers have unlocked some pretty beefy bumps from the super cards judging from recent press, and AMD drivers have history for improving greatly over time. There's a lot of flux when it comes to GPUs and it sucks to make the wrong decision on something that expensive. I've only just got AMD to agree to refund me for my 5700XT and that's taken 5 weeks

If your motherboard has BIOS flashback, then you may be able to flash it without the CPU, RAM & GPU installed. I was able to update my B450 Tomahawk using a flash drive

It's an absolute godsend, and their prices are insane. I got a black Friday deal for unlimited everything for £20 a month for 12 months, and fully expect a similar price for a 5G contract this time around.
 
I understand that their signal is still sketchy in areas, but if you live in an area with good coverage, three are absolutely the way to go

With 19.7.2 it's certainly better than it was, but definitely hold off until the AIB cards come out, mine sounds like a jet engine and I'm still suffering from stuttering in some games and pop-in, though the latter may not necessarily be the GPU/driver

I was running a b350 tomahawk before the wife got me a b450 tomahawk for Christmas and it's been solid. I got my 2666 ram to 3000mhz easily and my 1800x runs 4ghz all core at 1.345 volts all day stable. 
I highly recommend this motherboard. It only has one m.2 slot so keep that in mind if you need more then one. I'm waiting on July 7th to get my 3700x  to drop in there 

It will need a bios update, but with ASUS boards you can update bios with just a flash drive, no CPU needed.

It is compatible after you update the BIOS.
