  1. Update on the main issue as of 21st August 2023 I haven't noticed this booting issue since posting this thread as of yet. Changes I've made since: Reset GPU undervolting profile and uninstalled MSI Afterburner. Removed AMD Adrenalin Software (using DDU) & installed in Driver Only mode. Updated my monitor driver (tho I suspect it was up to date already) Reset and Updated BIOS to the latest version.
  2. Sorry. Forgot to make an update. Those spikes were a bug due to the Adrenalin Software from AMD. Uninstalled Adrenalin and installed GPU Driver only. Didn't see those periodical spike anymore. Related issue: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/gpu-clocks-spikes-when-idle.302852/
  3. Btw are those spikes in the GPU clock normal? Wasn't using any gpu intensive application though. Just normal usage.
  4. Update The issue hasn't happened till now since posting this thread. (cold booted 3 times after shut down since then) What I did since posting this thread: Updated adrenalin software (gpu driver) after using DDU. Completely got rid of MSI Afterburner (didn't uninstall tho). Updated my monitor driver (tho the version was from 2021)
  5. How did you update your monitor driver?
  6. So the issue basically is, when I press the computer's power button, it generally starts up. However, I notice a quick blink of a white light and the fan spins really fast for a short time on the GPU. Then, I hear the Windows starting sound, but the screen stays black and the monitor doesn't seem to get any signal from the GPU. But I think the computer is still working fine in the background. Now if I press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds to force restart the computer, then everything will boot normally. (The fan doesn't spin too fast, the white light doesn't blink, and the screen shows up as expected) The PC will run for hours without any issues. When it happens? If I normally restart the computer or if i shutdown and turn in back on within short period of time, the issue doesn't show up. It only happens if I try to start the computer the next day after shutting it down and unplugging it. This has been happening at least for some months now. Troubleshoot I've tried: turned off fast startup and hibernation from windows power settings. reset MSI Afterburner profile and disabled windows startup option. stress tested the GPU to see if something is unusual but nothing seems extraordinary. Computer Specifications: Software OS: Windows 11 version 22H2 build 22621.2134 AMD Adrenalin Software: 23.5.2 Radeon RX 580 Driver Version: 31.0.14057.5006 Hardware Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Graphics Card: Gigabyte RX 580 Gaming 8G RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz Storage 1: Gigabyte UD Pro 240GB SSD Storage 2: Seagate Barracuda 1TB Hard drive Power Supply: Antec VP500P Plus 500watt Display: ViewSonic VA2215-H The whole setup has been around 2 years old at this point but it wasn't used as a regular though (on average 5 days a month). Let me know if you need some more info to help me troubleshoot and get rid of this issue.
  7. My PC won't show display (just a black screen) until I presss it for 5 seconds to force shutdown and then restart! Then it'll turn on normally. Thinking it might be an operation system issue I've also changed from Windows 10 to Linux (EndeavourOS) But to no avail the problem persists regarding of operating system! Already Reset the BIOS but no luck here either! Interesting thing is if I just restart it or shutdown the PC and turn it on within a hour! It'll turn on/boot up without issues. The problem occurs if it's not turned on for at least 1 day or something! Then If I press the power button the PC will start and everything inside casing will be running but NO DISPLAY output will come till I press the button for 5+ seconds and then press it again to turn on the PC. note: the computer has been running fine for at least 2/3 years. No hardware changes has been made either before encountering this issue Spec: Mobo: Gigabyte B450m ds3h Processor: Ryzen 5 2600 Thanks in advance!

  9. I've set all the LAN devices to static. And it seems to fix the issue temporarily at least for now. Will go okay for about 12 hours and then the issue will appear with the respective IP. Seems like the only option I have. Their after sale service is the worst Thanks again for the help
  10. Yes. I am in the hope of finding a solution. I've yet to try 1,2,3. but I've tried the number 4 before and it didn't work. Thank you. I'll post the update after trying 1-3 Unfortunately I've no other option than to buy a new router or hope the company will fix the bug and release a new firmware. Thanks again for the help. I'll post update
  11. I'm not sure about that. But I guess it's a DSL modem as my connection type is PPPoE.

[Full System Logs Attached below] My System Log is flooded with this message : [dhcps]Lease host name not found. It's happening with all the devices connected to the router. I've also noticed when it happens with an IP, the device with that IP looses internet connection for a short period of time like 30 seconds or sometimes even looses the WiFi signal. My DHCP setting is pretty basic without any modification to the defaults [image attached below] Most of the time there's 5 to 6 devices connected. Sometimes there's 1 to 2. I have a computer which is connected via Ethernet. I'm not sure if the computer is effected by this. I've tried factory resetting the router and configuring it from scratch. But to no avail, The problem returned after some time later. I've also tried mailing TP LINK and they are yet to respond. Posted it on their forum and no replies so far. My educated guess is the problem lies within the firmware or might be a bug. The problem is really really problematic when you need a stable connection. Please help me how to solve it if the problem is from my end. Thanks in advance syslog.txt syslog 2nd.txt
  13. Thank you everyone for helping me! I appreciate it guys. Finally I've discovered the problem. I had connected my Display cable to the motherboard port. (Which is totally the dumbest thing to do) So since my build has no integrated Graphics, there was no Display. (I'm sorry again for bothering you guys)
  14. Yeah I've checked and found no issue though. I guess the problem might be in the Converter. But not sure! Anyway I can confirm or troubleshoot the PC via my phone?
  15. I've been using this PC for 5/6 months without any problem. And then I had to move from my place for this COVID-19 Pandemic. But my PC and stuffs were there all safe. Now after 3 months I've brought them here. successfully set up everything. But when I powered on the PC it doesn't signal to Display. My Monitor looks fine and the GPU looks fine too. Is there any way I can troubleshoot the problem? My GPU has HDMI Port but my Display has VGA port. So I have to use a HDMI to VGA Converter Cable to connect my GPU to Display. My Setup : Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H Graphics Card: Gigabyte RX 580 Gaming 8G RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz Storage 1: Gigabyte UD Pro 240GB SSD Storage 2: Seagate Barracuda 1TB Hard drive Power Supply: Antec VP500P Plus 500watt Display: Samsung SyncMaster S19B150 Please help me out! And Ask if I missed to add any information.
  16. My CPU is Ryzen 5 2600 and GPU is Gigabyte RX 580 8G. I use AMD Link. And it Disconnects Automatically after some time. Then I have to connect it again. How can I solve it?? Note: I'm using the latest version of AMD Link app in Android!
  17. Thank you all. The problem is solved after enabling VSync from Radeon Software. btw, I used to get 90-120 fps before enabling Vsync. Now I get 60-75 fps.
  18. hello there! I'm facing screen tearing problem with a game (ac origins). i play GTA 5 too. but never faced problem like this. My monitor is Samsung SyncMaster S19B150 with 60hz of refresh rate. the monitor has VGA port. and my GPU is Rx 580 which has HDMI port. so I had to use a VGA to HDMI converter to connect them. So I'm thinking right now, if the problem has something to do with the converter? or just only the monitor refresh rate syncing? Would be grateful if anybody could explain it!! Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thank you
  19. i've used prime95 software to stress the my processor. and here is the result from ryzen master. why the EDC at 99%
  20. Hey there! I'm using AMD Ryzen 5 2600 six core processor. Which does have 3.4GHz base clock and 3.9GHz of Boost Clock! But it seems my processor doesn't go up more than 3.7GHz of boost clock. Any 2600 user here? How can I check my processors Max boost clock?? *My motherboard is Gigabyte B450M DS3H and GPU is Gigabyte RX 580 Gaming 8G. Any help would be appreciated ? 21. nope didnt see any dust though. the shop isnt very famous but it does have quiet good reputation and good reviews. The main thing is the card does have 3 months of warranty where the shop granted me warranty of 1 year. Im bit confused about it. Note: the shop is official vendor of gigabyte in my country.
  22. hey there! i want to know, is there any way I can find out if my new Graphics Card (purchased from shop) is used or was totally intact before buying? My gpu is Gigabyte RX 580 Gaming 8G MI. One of my friend also told me this gpu is a mining gpu because it does have MI in the end. is it true? #Thanks in advance
  23. and why the cpuz saying otherwise? and the userbenchmark couldn't specify my rx 580 model. can this gpu be counterfeit? how can i test/check the gpu more to be sure?
