  1. You should start by calculating your TDEE via an online calculator. Find out how many calories you burn in a day as is and then you can modify your diet accordingly. So for example I sit around 2700kcal and depending if I'm building move up my calories to 3000kcal or cutting drop to 2000kcal. As far as Macros there is multiple ways to go about it but for fast results counting macros is huge. Aim for about .8-1g of protein per lb of body weight. You can adjust fat and carbs as needed ex. Ketogenic. Don't just bull rush into it eating 4k+ calories a day especially if you don't know how to cut properly, that's how you become an overweight blob especially being your only 140lbs. If you wan't shoot me a PM and I can give you some great resources to check out to learn to lift properly and safely, help with a routine, get your nutrition in check etc.
  2. Just bringing in some more bike love. Did 3 pulls with the ZX-10R for fun at the local bike meet. Just ignore that little scribble at the bottom of the dyno, That's some ones Harley Road King that pulled before me.
  3. Nothing below MSRP on Ebay for a 580 yet, even my local Microcenter has jacked up pricing still. Nice to see there is stock on the shelves though. 9 XFX Radeon RX-580's in stock at $449.99 ea.
  4. Was able to get the Michelin Pilot Power 3's mounted, and tore it down. With the parts I have sitting around I should be good for 180-185 RWHP around 14,000 RPM (Bumping the redline up 500rpm). Hoping to get it on the dyno within the next 2-3 weeks. Road to 200rwhp begins now.
  5. Today i ordered a black windscreen from Puig, K&N drop in race filter, Brocks Performance full exhaust, and Michelin Pilot Power 3's. Also had a base line dyno ran before mods start. 155hp @ 11,680rpm and 72lb/ft @ 10,750rpm. Things left to do, Install quick shifter, re-tune through Woolich, program in launch control, new rear sets, clip ons, seat, Install single seat cowl, gut the airbox, install my pazzo levers, and redyno. Shooting for 200 RWHP, a 60 shot may be required...
  6. Too many cars... Day 1. (Dealer fit some after market chinese pipe) Cleaned up the rear with a fender delete, Integrated tail light, Removed stupid reflectors, Installed spools.
  7. Very cool, especially if this applies to all contracted services. Though, I've personally not run into this issue as things I've signed up for have a military clause and treat it as a month to month subscription.
  8. Your right it could lead to a hell of an engine failure but, I'm not going to say a drone strike to an aircraft is going to down it. I've seen fan blades knurl under just from stress and have even seen where the shaft let out in flight (Spent some time doing blood and urine testing for that one), always ended up with an engine change and continuing flight on one less motor. Planes engines as you know have shelled out in the past but, today they are designed around that failure and can continue on if something were to happen. I'm just speaking in general here but, I personally don't see drones as a major threat to modern day aircraft.
  9. That's a lot of what if. I'm speaking from the perspective of an aircraft mechanic, I've seen hundreds of bird strikes, spent a decent amount of time cleaning birds out of crevices on planes, and have hundreds of hours flight time. There are procedures in place for aircraft striking objects. Call me a fool but I'm not worried, its part of my job to deal with damage.
  10. Most likely be the equivalent of a bird strike. If it strikes a surface it could puncture the skin or cause a minor dent. If it gets pulled in through the air conditioner inlets it could cause the loss of an air-conditioning unit. If it goes down the engine intake it could cause damage to the blades/internals. All of which won't cause an aircraft to crash, the engine will "require" an emergency landing, but time spent on the ground means the airliner isn't making money, and I can bet you that's their biggest fear.
  11. Looks like they are now expanding the investigation to propane tanks... Very strange activity going on. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/12/13/cops-investigating-more-suspicious-cellphone-buys-propane-tank-thefts/
  12. Also to add, we are in an exercise that kicked off a few days ago. "Global Thunder is an annual command and control exercise to train Department of Defense forces, assess joint operational readiness, and validate the ability to identify and mitigate attacks across all of U.S. Strategic Command's mission areas, with specific focus on cyber, space, missile defense and nuclear readiness." http://www.minotdailynews.com/page/content.detail/id/627970/Global-Thunder.html?nav=5010 As is Russia.... "Russian nuclear forces conducted a large-scale exercise last week that included test firings of several long-range missiles along with dual-capable shorter range ballistic and cruise missiles, according to U.S. officials." http://freebeacon.com/national-security/russia-test-fires-series-of-nuclear-missiles-during-strategic-drills/
  13. I wonder if they will go the model airplane route and require an AMA membership and liability insurance to fly...
