  1. Good point, I should've thought of how load would cause the PSU's fan to ramp up. I'll stick to the rest, any thoughts on the other four?
  2. Hey all, I'm in the planning stage of a new, budget build. My potential part list includes an i3 12100F or an i5 12400F coupled with either an RX 6600 or an RTX 3060, right now I'm looking at a few PSU's and have chosen these five, most important requirement is silence (CX450M's constant coil whine even after two RMA's almost drove me to madness) EVGA Supernova 750 G6 - Link Fractal Design Ion+ 2 Platinum 660W (this one is on Sale and will likely go back to it's original pricing when I finally purchase all the parts) - Link Cooler Master V550 Gold V2 - Link NZXT C650 Gold V2 - Link ASUS TUF Gaming 450W (I've added this to the list for opinions, it's far cheaper than the rest and from what I've read it might just be good enough, the extra cash would allow me to spend more on to either an i5 12400F or a better GPU but if it does compromise my intended goal of a quiet PSU then I'm willing to avoid it) - Link Thank you.
  3. Main requirement is low noise and reliability. Which is the better option between these two? https://www.scan.co.uk/products/450w-seasonic-focus-gold-hybrid-modular-80plus-gold-sli-crossfire-single-rail-37a-120mm-fan-atx-psu or https://www.scan.co.uk/products/400w-be-quiet!-pure-power-11-cm-semi-modular-80-plus-gold-sli-crossfire-dual-rail-32a120mm-fan-atx-p Thank you!
  4. Looking at this PSU and my main requirement is low noise, will this do just fine? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07V2D48JF/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1
  5. I'd also check out the NR600 if your looking for great airflow.

  7. Be-quiet Pure Power 11 CM 400w/500w Cooler Master NR400/NR600 for the case or Versa J22 TG
  8. I'd add the Coolermaster NR600 onto that list. GamerNexus has done a review on it too.
