  1. Temps are fine, 29c idle. I've left it a while and it's pretty much stopped, just a few times in 10 or so minutes now. Maybe it needs to settle down or something. Perhaps cycle the air out and then it'll stop?
  2. got this cooler yesterday, just tested it and makes this noise. it's intermittent though, stops for a few seconds then starts again. i have corsair icue but it doesn't do anything. any suggestions are appreciated. 20190907_122744.mp4
  3. userbenchmark.com they have software to test your pc. and no, other way around. out of 100 cards, mine is only 79th best. not good.
  4. under average. if 100 cards are tested mine is only 21st going from worst to best performing.
  5. So my founder edition 2070 Super arrived today and after some testing I've found that the fans ramp up to 100% for like 10 seconds every time I boot, and performance is far below the average for the card. A quick userbenchmark test shows it in the 21st percentile. I have the latest driver. Any suggestions?
  6. yeah I've considered all of these. the XT is great but as GPUs go I'm kind of an NVIDIA guy 1080Ti is also great and decent value too but I wanted to get an RTX card 2080 is something I've looked at but they're not priced as well as the others.
  7. i can't decide! ah man its actually annoying... 2070 super won't be back in stock for long.
  8. the games I play sit around 60-180, good thing I have freesync
  9. So I play at 1440p 144hz with my current 1070. I could get a 2080ti in 2 weeks or a 2070 Super now. Thing is, I'm not sure if the 2080ti's high price is worth the performance considering I'm at 1440p and not 4k. If it is, I don't mind paying it though. Current specs: R5 3600, 16GB DDR4, GTX 1070 Any advice is appreciated.
  10. I can get a D15 for £50, which sounds alright to me in terms of value, considering it's silence and cooling capability. I can get the AIO for not much more though. I'm not going to keep the stock cooler on it because it's simply too loud.
  11. Yes, I have the 3600, and the 360 isn't 150 (or the retail over here in UK), I can get a good deal on one.
  12. only considering such a large cooler because the price is actually good, otherwise i'd go for a cheaper solution
  13. it's almost as if nobody has ever used a large air cooler or aio on ryzen
  14. I'd like to push my 3600 as far as I can, and I can get a good deal on a NH-D15 or a be quiet Silent Loop 360. Kinda stuck between the two, which could achieve a higher OC? Just an extra bit of info, I care very much about noise levels. Any advice would be appreciated.
