Hello everyone, I’m looking for a 4TB 3,5” HDD for video and photos, my options are: -Toshiba p300 (HDWD240UZSVA), -WD Blue (WD40EZAZ), -Seagate Barracuda (ST4000DM004) In my country prices are pretty much the same but I listed them anyway by price from lowest to highest. They’re all 5400 rpm with Toshiba having half the cash of others. From your experience which one is the most reliable? I’ve had one p300 for 4 years so far and it’s been working just fine. My concerns stemmed from this video: Playing an animation on the second monitor would tank the refresh rate and introduce stutter. However if you guys are not experiencing any issue Im guessing the problem has been resolved. Thanks for the help!

Hello everyone, I've been planning on buying a second monitor for my setup. Right now I have a 1440p 170 hz one and I want to get a 1080p/1440p 60hz. I've heard there were some issues regarding different refresh rates monitors, such as the main one dropping refresh rate to match the slower panel. Is the issues still present? Also I wanted to ask if having more monitors will impact gaming performance in any significant way? Thanks for the answers^^

Hey, Since the newest discord update standard and legacy audio subsystems wont support my mic quality (from 192 000 hz to 88200 hz), only experimental does. Is there a reason to it? Am I the only one? Thanks for the help^^

Hello, While cleaning my pc I unplugged my HDD SATA connector (pc was turned off ofc) and after rebooting 1 out of 3 folders that I had on it was gone, around 750gb of footage. I can see that space is still allocated, I tried showing hidden folders, didnt work. Oh and also, the name changed from 'local drive (E) ' to 'new (E)'. Any ideas how to get it back? Thank you in advance!

Ever since I updated to the newest version of nvidia gfe, the FPS counter doesn’t display in every game and from time to time it shows N/A when not playing (just being in desktop). Has anyone also had these issues? Before the update everything was working perfectly. Thank you for your answers ^^

Check my message above. Ai-1 supposedly doesnt have enough power for the shure.Also the difference between UMC202HD and Behringer UM2 is only the additional inputs? I'd love an interface with low noise and I just dont trust sth this cheap to deliver me that

Also, if I were to go with an inline preamp ( probably fethead cause cloudlifters are incredibly expensive here in Poland) should I go with a different interface than the ai-1?

@The Flying Sloth Hey I have one more question. I’ll be buying Ai-1 for SM7B. Ai-1 has 45 dB of gain where the mic requires at least 60. Are you sure it’ll be enough? I stumbled across this page here https://service.shure.com/s/article/sm7-output-level-and-preamp-gain-specifications?language=en_US I really want to avoid upping the gain in software, cause it will probably make the static audible. I think I'll pull the trigger on SM7B and A-1. I didnt really like how the stealh sounded. Im choosing A-1 over the Mackie Onyx cause on full gain it doesnt have any noise as far as Ive heard

So all I need is a strong interface like the A-1 and Im good? No inline preamps?

I already have a boom arm and a pop shield. I prefer to trust someone that is well known for his audio knowladge than a fresh random acc. I'll take a deeper look into all of this but maybe youre right, I may not need such a mic.

Hello and welcome, Today I noticed a screw sticking out of my rode psa1 boom arm. It was screwed into some piece of plastic. I remember having some problems with that part but it was ages ago. When I unscrewed it the plastic broke and the screw went flying across my room revealing this piece of metal which looks to be a part of internal mechanism. Boom arm works fine, even better, I’m now able to fully extend its length (I wasn’t able to do that before). When fully extended it makes some scraping sound but nothing bad. Nevertheless this sticking part worries me so I’d be thankful for any tips on how to repair it or which part of the mechanism it is. Thank you in advance ^^

I have an i9 9900k with a high overclock cooled by a Dark Rock Pro 4 and in cpu heavy games it’s audible. My case fans are already pretty quiet that’s why I’m looking for a balance in between airflow and silence
