  1. Big, bigger, biggest! Oled! I really want a bigger screen and since OLED's are currently restricted to ultrawides and I really need a 16:9 display I thought why not get one of these? The problem is that the LG C3 is 20$ more expensive than the Philips OLED808. I wasn't able to find out if they have the same panel, I mean, they should have, right? So why not go for the cheaper Philips and get free backlighting (the advertised big feature of it) But I need to be sure I'm not making a big mistake when it comes to quality so if anybody could advice me, I think I'm the first to ask this, and on top of that, these 2 displays are the only options for a sub-1000$ 42" 120Hz OLED pc gaming monitor, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Any help is appreciated! Even just finding info on what these displays' difference really is for gaming.
  2. I don't get the difference between nightdive and gog, they seem to do the exact same thing with obtaining licenses, fixing old games and reselling them, am I wrong? I visited their booth and they are working on a new system shock game just like gog studios (didn't know they owned other franchises)
  3. That's fine, I don't mind paying in data, as I said, I just want an easier solution than having to wait 2 minutes to boot up Tor every time I want to download a 10Mb file. But again, this makes ALL websites go through that dns right? Because I really don't want that. I need to still do video calls and competitive gaming and having to restart my computer each time to turn off the VPN is way worse than 2 minutes of booting up Tor
  4. I found a free VPN, "VPN Gate", how do I use with Firefox, maybe there's an add-on where I can whitelist this one site, so everything else works as normal, so it only uses a VPN on this one website, or do I have to install a whole VPN windows client for it?
  5. I've just installed it and turned on all the toggles, but nothing changed, it still redirects me whenever I try and access the site
  6. Ever since I moved here, they're the only ISP I have decent internet with, so I can't just get a different internet provider, and all proxy links also don't work. TOR works great, but my connection is extremely capped and the captcha's are giving me massive headaches. I would love it if there were some kind of simple line I can add to my hosts file so it accesses the site through either Cloudflare or Google DNS's, as my migraines are really starting to act up, having to work through all the spam and scam websites where they keep trying to get me to buy a VPN, or overly complicatedly explain how name revolving works (I have no knowledge of it at all) I don't need my connection to be secure at all, the ISP is allowed to know I'm accessing the site, considering I'm not doing anything illegal with it. I would really prefer not to have to purchase a seperate device or buy an annual VPN subscription for just this one website. (The website is mega by the way) Thank you!
  7. They are 2000 different but exactly equally sized rectangle images, I'll be using a paper cutter so all pages need to have their 16 images in the same spot. An example solution if I wanted 9 images per page would be selecting 9 images, right click -> print in Windows, then choosing the "Wallet" option which prints them on a 3x3 grid, 9 images per page. The problem with this is that there are gaps/margins between and around the images, and there is no 4x4 / 16 images per page option in Windows. I want no gaps inbetween as a priority, because paper cuttering that will be a nightmare. I have Photoshop but all solutions online are very labor intensive and focused on differently-sized and positioned images, which I don't have need for. Is there a simple program or feature I can use to print an entire folder like this? Thank you!!
  8. Fair enough, so could you give me the full names for your recommendations please? I think I'd like to try 32" 4k.
  9. What about the new Odyssey Neo G7? It came out a month ago, seems to be the most recent 4k 32" monitor if I'm really going to go the 4k route. EDIT: I can't seem to find any Sony 4k 32" monitors?
  10. My Odyssey G7 bit the bullet today, after just over 2 years of service it started showing horizontal lines and 20 minutes later it shut down with a green wipe. This monitor was amazing apart from the excessive backlight bleed (which I got used to so that was never a problem) and coil whine and brightness issues on certain web pages and games, like some Baba is You levels. I'm wondering, in these past 2 years, have been there been any major updates in the 32" 1440p 165hz+ category of monitors? Any recommendations? I'm willing to go up to 1000$ of budget, I bought the G7 for 600$ at the time which was fine.
