This is for an old AMD 955 system with 12 GB ram DDR3, a 6850, 256 gb SSD samsung and that's about it.
My son was telling me that the computer is having weird screen problems.
The bios is showing weird pink bars and when I try to boot into windows it gets to the windows logo screen and crashes. No blue screen but just restarts.
Sometimes the computer will not post at all, just hear the fans spinning and no BIOS logo or anything.
I've never had problems before until now. There was alot of dust build up so I cleaned that up but there's no change.
Also when I remove some of the memory sticks the computer will start to boot but again won't make it past the windows logo screen.
I'm thinking the video screen may be gone but that wouldn't explain why windows won't boot up does it?
