So I've unplugged the Oculus Rift and one sensor, and also I'm now running my mouse off the keyboard's USB. When in this config I no longer get the error. I think you are correct in that I'm maxing out the controller, but upon speaking with Gigabyte's "support" they tell me that the board should be able to handle everything. Not sure if I believe them, because their support has been very basic so far, and they take forever to reply. 1. Should I look into sending the board in for an evaluation/RMA? OR 2. Should I get a PCI-E USB3 controller? *I hope this is what you meant by "mentioning you" - forums aren't really my thing!

I'll give that a try. It seems weird that a new board would be maxed out with only a few devices whereas a board that was over 7 years old was fine. I've tried different plug configs (everything that can be plugged into USB 2 currently is), so that isn't really an option. And I really don't want to have to buy a powered USB controller if I don't have to.

Sorry I wasn't clear - this is a totally new PC with a fresh install of Win10 Pro. Drivers were installed from the mb support page, but I have tried installing from Windows Update as well.

Hi guys, I recently bought the Gigabyte Aorus z390 Ultra and haven't really been impressed with the board as of yet. Had a few lighting issues (lighting sometimes turns on, sometimes the RAM lighting turns off, it's all random), but my major issue is when I recently plugged in my VR Oculus Rift headset and sensors. I keep getting the popup 'Not enough USB controller resources'. I've tried reinstalling the "USB hub" device in Windows, and also plugging the device into different USB ports. I've tried reinstalling the Intel controller for the MB. Searches online have been less than fruitful - RMA seems to be the answer but surely there are other tests/things to do. All suggestions welcome. Currently I have plugged in to USB: -1 Corsair LUX K70 keyboard -1 G900 Logitech mouse -1 Sennheisser GSX 1000 Virtual 7.1 Gaming Audio Amplifier -1 Oculus Rift headset -3 Oculus Rift sensors I had all of these plugged in to my previous PC with no issues at all, in fact I also often had an XBox controller plugged in as well. Thanks for the reply. Is there a hub that you would recommend with the Thermaltake fans? I still need another 3 fans for the case, and I don't care if they are RGB or not, so maybe an integrated fan and RGB controller for the 6 fans?

Hi all, Just bought a Thermaltake CL-W234-PL12SW-A Water 3.0 360 ARGB Sync AIO CPU Cooler after seeing good reviews, to go with my newly purchased Gigabyte z390 Aorus Ultra MB. All the fans are working, everything appears great, but for the life of me I can't see how to plug the RGB header into the MB. The instructions (from the AIO) say to use the 3 pin DVG plug and plug this into the DVG addressable header on the MB, however, there doesn't appear to be one. There are 4 pin addressable headers, and I do have a 4 pin cable that was labelled for use with ASROCK, ASUS, etc, MBs, but I am not sure if plugging this in will cause damage (the cable has a + symbol on it, leading me to believe it is power related, whereas the MB does not).
