  1. So, if I mount the X72 on the front as intake and the X62 on the top as exhaust, should I still put another fan on top? (I don't think one will fit) and another on the rear as exhaust? Now if I was to bottom mount the X62 and front mount the X72, I believe it would work, however I heard that bottom mounting a rad is a bad idea, because the pump is then higher than the rad, and you can get air bubbles stuck at the pump?
  2. So for the last few days I have been looking to find the best set up for my rig. I am liquid cooling both the CPU and GPU in a Fractal Design Meshify S2. The CPU is being cooled with a Kraken X72 and the GPU is being cooled with the Kraken G12 and a Kraken x62. I am also using Noctua NF12 fans for the X72 and NF14 fans for case and X62. I believe the best set up would be too use the X72 as an exhaust in a push configuration, and the X62 as a pull configuration front mount. As I believe the GPU will benefit from having direct access to cooler air from the front. Now I have tried to do a pull configuration with the X72 on top, however when I set it up Top Mounting it. Bolt--> Washer --> Bracket --> Fan --> Rad The bolt just barely sticks out of the bottom hole of the fan into the rad. To mount it I have to quite firmly push down in order to screw the bolt down. When it is attached I doubt it will fall, but I don't want to take a chance of bending the metal bracket by using to much force. Is it okay to do this? Or should I just stick with a push configuration? Also would this set up create positive or negative pressure? Any ideas on a better set up? X62 + 2 x 140 NF14 Front Mount Pull Intake 1 or 2 NF14 Bottom Mount Pull Intake X72 + 3 x 120 NF12 Top Mount Push Exhaust 1 NF14 Rear Mount Pull Exhaust I thought about bottom mounting the X62, but heard it is better to avoid that if possible? Would I be better off doing a push/pull on the X62 in front than having two fans as intake on the bottom? Also would it be better to have the GPU mounted in the front with the CPU as exhaust or vice versa? The X62 fits in the Top, Bottom, and Front, but on top it has to be set closer to the center than the rear. Also if I put it in front is it ok to have it more center mounted than right at the top? The front, bottom, and top have dust filters. With the Front and Top being ide tical in the second picture. Thank you for any help with this
  3. Ok so keep the x62 in front at the top and put another 140 at the bottom pushed back slightly?
  4. Ok so keep the x72 on the CPU, but put it as exhaust or as intake?
  5. The CPU and GPU because I am going to overclock both and I would prefer to have positive airflow and want to make sure the PC is going to run cool enough.
  6. Well, I have the x72 mounted as exhaust for CPU as well. Would it be better to swap the x72 for the x62 and cool the CPU with x62 and the GPU with the x72 and put the x72 in front and x62 on top as exhaust?
  7. Well, that's my concern because putting the 280 in the front, I can't fit another fan in the front limiting my front intake. I don't even think I can fit one on the bottom either.
  8. Hello everyone, I just recently started my current build and it isn't my first time building, but this has definitely been my most challenging, and most thought out build I have ever done. This will also be the first time I am going to start adventuring into the world of overclocking. The issue I'm currently running into, is that when I bought my CPU and GPU AIO coolers I was going for the Kraken x72 for CPU as Top Exhaust and Kraken x52 for the GPU as front intake using a Kraken G12. I was going to have another fan above the 240 Rad for extra intake (120 or 140 depending on what would fit). I was also possibly considering putting one more fan on the bottom as intake, as the case will be sitting on my desk. The problem is that, without even realizing it Microcenter basically gave me a Kraken x62 for the price of an x52 and I didn't catch it until I went to complete the last night. Now I have already mounted the CPU Rad to the top (x72), the issue I am running into is that with the x62 I can not put anymore fans in front unless I do a push configuration on the Front Rad and I would prefer to do a pull config on the front radiator. My questions/concerns are as folllows: 1. Will the X62 and it's two 140mm fans be enough for the front intake? Will they pull in enough air? Especially with the x72 as the exhaust? 2. Do I need to put the fan in the bottom if I use the X62 on the front as an intake? Bottom would be intake as well. 3. Should I just go swap it and get the X52 so I can fit three fans in the front? 4. Front should be pull not push config? Any other ideas? Fan Setup: origianlly would be 3 x 120 in front with 2 on the 240 Rad and either 1 x 140 if it fits or 1 x 120. Then a 120 or 140 for bottom as intake and another 120 or 140 in the back panel for exhaust. Then the 3 x 120's on the 360 Rad mounted on top as exhaust. At this point I'm kind of stuck and could use some help.
