  1. Hi all, I am trying to setup my audio for gaming and its getting a bit complex and Im struggling to work out how to set it up in Windows to work how I want. Devices I have are: Astro A50 - Connected via Optical cable and USB The A50 then shows up in sounds settings as: Astro A50 Game (I dont want to use this as using Optical out for game audio) Astro A50 Voice + Razer Seiren Elite What I want to acheive is Game Sound Output - Optical to A50 Chat Output - Astro A50 Voice (So I can do Game/Voice Mix) Chat Input - Razer Seiren Elite The game sound seems to be working well so all good on that. Its trying to get chat in and out to be a different device I cant quite get. Any help much appreciated! Thanks, Mark
  2. Hi all, I am planning to do my first custom water cooling loop and have been doing quite a lot of research. I have settled on my build and am going all corsair with the water-cooling/fans as I like the idea of all the RGB etc being controlled via iCUE. The only concern I have is trying to buy the correct fittings as the prices here in the UK for Corsair fittings are very expensive. Is it possible to buy compatible fittings elsewhere? Ideally I would have preferred some kind of "multi-pack" so I could mix and match as required. Otherwise, could someone give me some idea of an approximate number of each fitting type I would need? For reference I am looking to replicate this build: Appreciate this is not necessarily a straight forward question but any help is appreciated Thanks, Mark
  3. Hi all, I recently built a new rig, its a lot of power in a small case so I thought temps may be an issue but I thought it would be CPU that would be the issue, not the chipset. When gaming the chipset temp shoots up to 88-90C and when I stop it does drop but not very much and not very quickly! Can anyone think why this would be? The motherboard is ASUS ROG and is meant to have onboard cooling.. really surprised and confused. Specs: Specs: CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H80i MoBo: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact X570 GPU: NVIDIA RTX2080 Super RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4 LPX 3600 Storage: 500GB Corsair MP600 SSD Case: SUGO SG13B MINI-ITX PSU: Corsair SF600 Thanks, Mark
  4. @5x5 @Mateyyy Hi both, Have been looking into the temps and while the CPU seems okay I notice the chipset temps in HWINFO64 are very high. Playing warzone I notice the chipset is sitting at 89C sustained.. really surprised and confused - any thoughts on what could be causing thiis?
  5. That’s really disappointing as I love the look of the case, but I also love the board so will need to the one that got away I think
  6. Hello, I currently have a rig built in a silverstone Sugo with an ASUS ROG Crosshair impact Mini DTX. I am thinking about picking up a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Shift Air but I see it is only rated for mini itx, with DTX being a newer form factor but very similar to mini itx, can anyone advise if it will fit in this case? thanks Mark
  7. Looks like my batch number isn't affected by the recall so all good there. I will try running those stress tests
  8. Oops that was silly! I have added it above and for reference its a Corsair SF600. I have looked at temps and the CPU temp occasionally goes into high 70s but I have been using core temp - perhaps that's not the best software to use? I am using the latest bios and drivers and don't have DOCP on.
  9. Hi all, I recently finished my new RIG, Its a lot of power in a small case and Im very pleased with it but I'm having an annoying intermittent issue, specifically when gaming (Warzone). When playing, on occasion the whole PC will freeze, die and then boot up again. It shows no error or notice about why this has happened. Could someone advise some logs or something I could check out? Specs: CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H80i MoBo: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact X570 GPU: NVIDIA RTX2080 Super RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4 LPX 3600 Storage: 500GB Corsair MP600 SSD Case: SUGO SG13B MINI-ITX PSU: Corsair SF600
  10. Thanks a lot for this! Will try the GUI first as I had a look at the bios but was a bit confused. If the GUI doesnt get the results Im after I will try and research bios a bit more. Thats cool we have the same board, This is by far the most expensive board Ive ever bought but Im hoping I can use it for a long time. Did you change your CPU voltage settings similar to this video from Jayztwocents?
  11. I will pick up an H80i, I wanted this to be a pretty no compromise build so want cooling performance to be excellent for its size. Dissapointed I didnt realise before? Thanks for this Could you explain how I can setup a fan curve as at the moment my fan is continually spinning up and down and its rather annoying!
  12. Ah okay, Reason I was concerened was that watching a youtube video by Jayztwocents he seemed to suggest that 40 was high? I didnt realise the H60 wwas considered a bad cooler, is there a better 120mm AiO you can reccomend?
  13. Hello all, I am having some issues with my newly built mini ITX Rig (D-ATX). Im not sure if this is a CPU settings issue or some kind of cooling problem but decided to post in CPU. I just built the machine and it is my first ever small form factor build. Here are the specs: Here are the full build specs: CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H60 MoBo: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact X570 GPU: NVIDIA RTX2080 Super RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4 LPX 3600 Storage: 500GB Corsair MP600 SSD Case: SUGO SG13B MINI-ITX My issue is that on idle my CPU jumps between 44 and 54 degrees, each time it jumps the fan spins up then back down. I stress the word jumps as it does not steadily climb it is a straight number switch. It worries me both that the idle is so high and that the temp is jumping around. I ran a Prime95 stress test set for max heat and the CPU topped out at 67 which seems like a good number on load so really not getting why it is idling so high. Can anyone help out?
  14. Thanks everyone for the replies - given that my computer likely can't run the 4K I have gone for the 1440
  15. Thanks! Appreciate the advice and saves me some money
  16. Hello all, I am looking for a new high end monitor for gaming and have narrowed it down to two options. 1440p: 27" ASUS ROG Swift PG278QE Monitor, TN, 2560x1440, 165Hz, 1ms, G-SYNC, 1000:1, 350cd/m², HDMI/DP/USB 4K: 27" Acer Predator XB273KGP Monitor, IPS, 3840x2160, 120Hz, 4ms, HDR, 1000:1, 400cd/m², HDMI/DP, G-Sync Compatible Is the 165Hz worth giving up for 4K? Also would my system be able to drive 4K at high settings? This is my build: CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H60 MoBo: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact X570 GPU: NVIDIA RTX2080 Super RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4 LPX 3600 Storage: 500GB Corsair MP600 SSD Case: SUGO SG13B MINI-ITX
  17. Oh dear.. My main decision on that was that I knew it would fit but maybe there is a better option?
  18. Thanks for the advice and sharing this site - they also have the corsair in stock so have ordered from there. Thanks for the advice. Thanks to @5x5 I have managed to order an SFX that is in stock and has suitable power.
  19. Hi all, Having a go at building myself a small but powerful machine. I have sourced all the parts except a PSU. I was hoping someone could help answer two questions What wattage of PSU do I need? Can I use a normal ATX PSU in the sugo 13 or does it need to be a small form factor one? (Small form factors are mainly sold out in the UK ) Here are the full build specs: CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H60 MoBo: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact X570 GPU: NVIDIA RTX2080 Super RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4 LPX 3600 Storage: 500GB Corsair MP600 SSD Case: SUGO SG13B MINI-ITX Thanks, Mark
  20. Hello all, I suspect to some this may be a silly question but I just wanted to clarify... I am looking to build a mATX size build for my rather shallow server rack and have come up with what I think to be an ideal CPU/Motherboard combo but i have been reading online that some motherboards need a bios update to use newer Ryzen CPU's and to do that update you need an older Ryzen CPU to boot and perform the update. I have no access to an old CPU to do this so I wanted to ask if these would work together out of the box? 21. I think so - I can see the option to select the type of fan but not to select there are 2. However the software does show 2 as per this screenshot
  22. Hi all, First time PC builder, My build has gone well so far with everything working as I expected except one thing. On my Corsair H100i Cooler I have installed it correctly (I think) but one of the fans isnt showing any RGB. Both fans are connected to the H100i using the provided connections, both spin and one of them lights up correctly. However the other doesn't light up... It is detected in iCUE and shows the LEDs as addressable but they never switch on. Attached is a picture of the connectors as they are now, albeit not a good one but hopefully it gives an idea. So after all that my question is - Is there an issue with the fan or how I have set it up? https://imgur.com/LDYVUWc
  23. Thanks everyone! Two cables it is.
