  1. I have only two slots, so I will buy 2*8 and sell my current 2*4. Do you mean that new 2*8 with 1600 frequency have some risk of not starting on my system?
  2. I see, thanks. Seems I need to add 8Gb of Ram as my current 8 is not enough.
  3. There is no rush for me to buy components right now. I can wait even for 4-6 months until market gets stable after new Zen cpus and Navi. My plan is to spend about 600-700 usd for cpu, video, ram and mobo. At this moment it's possible to buy similar system only with some promo actions or combo sales. Just not sure if I should get 2070 in 3-4 months and wait maybe for 1 year more with my current cpu. Will my xeon be the bottleneck for 2070?
  4. Hello all! I am thinking about my current build and got some fps drops on Call of Duty Black Ops 4. It keeps stable 60fps and higher but sometimes it drops to 10-30 and it's not comfortable. The system is: Xeon e3 1231 v3 (close to i7 4790k) 8 Gb Ram 1600 GTX 970 ssd evo 860 Mobo has only 2 slots for Ram and I don't want to buy 2*8Gb with old 1600 frequency and sell my 2*4Gb. Not sure if my video card and cpu are still good for games. Should I replace the video card first for something like gtx 2060 and later get Ryzen 2600x or i5 9400F with mobo and 16Gb?
