So my old monitor has a resolutions of 1440x900 and in the view all list for resolutions it says that i can hava a res of 1280x1024 so now im wondering how is it possible to have a higher y axis res.I tried it thinking its gonna be messed up but no it fits perfectly on the screen.im using gpu scaling so my monitor doesnt resize the image to fit the screen. Also if i try like 1600x900 the screen is messed up but any res with the y axis of 1024 works normaly. Even custom ones like 1440x1024 and everything below that
I just cant seem to figure what type of die there is on this ram stick.
I want to play with it a bit to see what i can get with a good oc.
Right now im running 2933mhz with 1.36v and 1.1SOC
With these timings:
Also if anyone has any suggestions much appreciated cant seem to get above 2933mhz without shit timings.
EDIT:
Also these are my DRAM TIMING PARAMETRES
I think the cpu was sitting around 20% no spikes ran aida for like 2-3 hours so i know its not the cpu. might be the psu tho i read other posts and it seems to be the couse for a lot of people
1.st scenario - - - So i was installing a repack of a game and when its installing becouse its a repack it has to decompress the files and then install them.
when that is happening my Hard disk is pinned at 100% so that might be the cause but i started an installation for a game and i had chrome open with yt and like 5 tabs. after like 10 secs into the setup the whole screen froze and the sound from yt just became this horrible buzzing sound. after 4-5 secs it wasnt frozen anymore and i just closed chrome.didnt happen again
2.nd - - sometimes when im listening to music and have a game open i minimize the game and i click on windows notifications or search or any windows U/I element the sound buzzes for like 0.5 secs not the screen but only the sound.
When im playing any game be it BFV or Apex i never have a crash or weird sound buzzing only in certain situations when my hard disk has high usage.
specs:
Ryzen 5 1600 3.8Ghz
GTX 1050 OC. Core clock 2000mhz and mem 4090mhz both stable tested for a long time
1tb hdd no ssd
8gb ram 3200mhz
R 15 runs like butter around 1310 is the score.
Aidu dunno if i ran with fpu but prime doesnt crash another wierd thing is that the sensor on the cpu is reading 1.354v but the sensor on the mb is reading 1.424v. And r20 froze my pc rn.
I ran r15, prime, aida for 2 hours no crashes but when i run r20 it crashes half way not the pc but the program. And i get the error code to check logs.
Cpu: ryzen 1600 3.9ghz 1.424v max 70c
So i have massive vdrop from 1.36V to 1.313v and i tried every mode. The best mode so far was 1 which was the highest mode. And i got like 1.331V.
CPU:ryzen 1600
MB:Msi b350m gaming pro.
So should i increase my voltage trying to get 3.9ghz stable.
So i got a new coller for my ryzen 1600 and I overclocked it to 3.8ghz with 1.36V havent tried lower or higher yet.
My main question is that the motherboard is at 70°C and is it safe. My room temp is 23°C.
Also if anyone knows the voltages on the cpu when i stress test it is around 1.31V you can see it in the picture below. I think it has something to do with the LLC dunno.
