  1. thankyou so much. was just worried bout the loud fans but that's prob cause they're stock fans. ty
  2. not all cores are at 4.3, it does show it this way in task manager. so I'm fine or should i do something? the fan does spin loud sometimes.
  3. can you explain it in a understandable way for a noob. lmao i didnt understand anything.
  4. hello everyone, i'm fairly new to building a pc and i did almost a week ago. im using NZXT H510 and Ryzen 3600x both with stock coolers. I've noticed the processor stays at 4.32 GHz. I realize this is boost clock. The fans do spin loud from time to time but I just wanted to ask how to I get back to base clock (3.6 GHz)? Is it okay if I leave it at 4.32 GHz? Thanx in advance!
  5. thankyou. also can you answer the last question about the fans?
  6. Hello. I'm fairly new to building a PC, been gaming on a laptop till now. I ordered everything and it should be here tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous but I've done my research and want to confirm if all the things that I'm going to do is the right way to do it from the people who know how to. The graphics card is for reference. I've bought it used for $135(AUD). Planning for an upgrade to a 2060 or 2070 soon. The case is H510 but couldn't find it in pcpartspicker. I'm not buying any case fans or CPU coolers at the moment so I'll be running all the things stock. I've a bootable USB stick ready. Here's my components- PCPartPicker Part List: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor $387.00 @ Shopping Express Motherboard Gigabyte - X570 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard $378.00 @ Shopping Express Memory Corsair - Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $142.46 @ Amazon Australia Storage Samsung - 860 QVO 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive $159.00 @ Shopping Express Video Card Sapphire - Radeon RX 570 4 GB PULSE Video Card $233.10 @ Newegg Australia Case NZXT - H500 ATX Mid Tower Case $129.00 @ Austin Computers Power Supply Corsair - RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $159.00 @ Austin Computers Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1587.56 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-07-23 12:58 AEST+1000 Now for the questions, I've attached 2 image with this post, one is the motherboard from gigabyte's official manual and the other one is what I've made to help me connect the connectors in the right port. All the ports between 'X' in the image I made is not important for me and I will not be needing them (to my knowledge). I know it'd probably be hard to look at these and help, but any help is appreciated. So here it is, correct me if I'm wrong: 1. ATX_12V - the power for the cpu from the PSU. 2. SYS_FAN1 and SYS_FAN2 - case fans, nzxt stock fans 3. CPU_OPT - not needed, used for water coolers 4. CPU_FAN - connect the stock cooler (wraith spire) 5. LED_C2 & D_LED2 - not needed, no addressable rgb atm 6. ATX - 24-pin connector, from the PSU 7. F_USB31C - usb c from the case (since I'm using H510, not the H500) 8. SATA3 - the samsung SSD which also connects to PSU via another cable. 9. F_PANEL - all the headers in the front panel (comes as one with H510) 10. F_USB30_1 & F_USB30_2 - case's usb ports 3 11. F_USB1 & F_USB2 - no use (no usb2.0 ports in case) 12. TPM - no idea (need help with this) 13. QFLASH_PLUS - no use (used for flashing new bios) 14. LED_C1 & D_LED1 - same as 5 15. F_AUDIO - audio cables from the case Please do correct me if I'm wrong in any of these. Also, a few more questions: - Do I need to manually set the ram speeds to 3000MHz? Also, it only says 2933MHz and 3200MHz supported in the MB's manual. - If I were to connect Addressable RGB, I'd have to connect it to either D_LED1 or D_LED2? Would https://www.mwave.com.au/product/cougar-rgb-led-strip-dual-pack-ac16098 work? - I only see 2 SYS_FAN, what if I were to add more fans in the case, where would I connect it? Would a spliiter be essential then? I realize this is a long post and would take a lot of time to read and give help. Thankyou in advance.

  8. i went with the x570 elite than the gaming x. i’ll probably upgrade down the line so i think it’ll be fine. thanx for all the help.
  9. hello. thanx for the suggestion. i actually was planning on getting a msi b450 and updating the bios but after i did some research and since i’m starting from scratch without an older ryzen cpu, i found there’s some issues with updating the bios. are you sure that this will work because i cannot take chances with this both for my money and time. i’m scared it might not work like with some people on reddit

  12. lmao. i know i’m not dumb. i just haven’t decided on it. i’m not going to try to use it without a card. i just want to hear the thoughts from the people who actually know about this stuff and can help me decide, potentially for a better component or suggestions for improvement.
