  1. I just got a 3600X with the ROG Strix E board, the cooler that came with the CPU is ramping up and getting louder while doing basic things like browsing reddit or steam every 10 seconds or so, it’s quiet with nothing running. I’ll need to set a custom fan curve till my water cooler arrives but I’ve no idea what CPU Usage to RPM to use, can I get some suggestions?
  2. I used TestDisk in the end, managed to recover all 2TB's of data on the drive, drive is now fixed aswell. Spent the past week building a Plex and backup server, so I have less data on my PC (Media content) and the important stuff is backed up on the server too.
  3. Once the scanning has completed will it give me the option to recover the data? Or will I at least be able to see that the data is still there?
  4. Im scanning the disk now, looks like its going to take a while.. Hope it works, thanks
  5. I have a 4TB HDD which was split to 2 2TB partitions. One was ext4 (left) and the other NTFS (right). I had copied all the data from the ext4 partition to the NTFS one for use in Windows. Once this was finished I used GParted, which was going to change the ext4 partition to NTFS and move all the data to the start of the drive to create a 4TB NTFS drive with all my data in place. I had a power cut during this process, when i turned the computer back on I can see the 2TB NTFS partition, but its empty with no data in it, even though it says 1.4TB is in use, there is nothing on the drive i can see. It shows as /dev/sbd2 and I can't find /dev/sdb(1). I need to recover the data somehow but I don't know how. Can anyone help? I don't have a backup Would be heartbreaking to loose this data. OS: Manjaro Linux
