  1. So I've been currently seeking to upgrade finally into 1440p 144hz area from my 1080p 60hz monitor. Been looking at reviews and mostly been stalking the Rtings website to see their recommendations on monitors but I'm pretty undecisive and want to get pretty much the best for my buck. Money is not an issue and looking for a monitors anywhere from 27-34inch and either between IPS or VA panels. I currently play between FPS shooters and MMOs. (COD, BF, FFXIV) My computer set up is: AMD Ryzen 3700x Motherboard: B-450 tomahawk Ram: G-skill DDR4 3600mhz 16cl Graphic Card: sapphire NItro+ 5700xt And as mentioned in the title I have kind of narrowed it down to top 5 so wanted to know peoples personal experience with these monitors and how they like it and if they recommend it. Also one more thing I plan on upgrading my graphics card to either a 3070 or 3080 TI in the future or when they become available. 1. Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75T (If ppl have the 27 inch one lmk your take on it as well plz) 2.Gigabyte AORUS FI27Q-X 3.Gigabyte M32Q 4.ASUS TUF VG27AQ 5.Dell S2721DGF If you have any that you recommend aside from this list plz lmk as well. Thank you ^^
  2. Hello currently I have a B-450 thomahawk motherboard and I am planning on upgrading my graphics card to the new 3080 or 3090. My question is do I need to upgrade into the B550 or 570 or can I still use my current motherboard.
  3. So since i have finally upgraded my computer i am looking to upgrade my monitor considering I'm playing on a old 1080 60hz monitor atm. My budget as mentioned is anywhere from 400-600$ USD, i mostly play MMO's while the occasional shooter COD, and Apex. i am looking maybe to play more competitive later on so just kind of want to see wat ppl suggest for 1080p monitors. However as i mentioned i most play MMOS so i was looking at 1440ps monitor and reviewed the rtings website as well as videos and reviews from other sources and it seem like Asus Tuff is the way to go or the new Asus monitors. Again just trying to see people suggestions or personal experience if you are using set monitors.
  4. Okay figured just wanted to double check. Thank you
  5. So I recently built a new PC and wanted to use my old HDD from my previous build. However after installing windows and formatting it erased all of my data on that drive. I know it’s a long shot or dumb question but is there any way or third party programs to try and recover the data on that drive??
  6. I didn’t see any extra. I have the 80+ Bronze idk if that makes a difference. And thank you for the link
  7. Sapphire nitro + is another great candidate.
  8. So i recently upgraded my PC and decided to use my power supply from my old build. It’s a Corsair TX 750M. Forgetting that it’s only semi modular i realized I didn’t have enough SATA ports mostly for my RGB fans. So I was wondering are Molex to SATA cables viable? I’ve read some forms and posts about how using Molex to Sata can wipe ur memory and just being a bad experience. Just wondering if anyone here has done it or their experience.
  9. I am currently building my new rig and picked up the Mean It 5pm Case. I picked up the Corsair H100i platinum RGB liquid cooler as well as 3 other fans 120mm each. So I was wondering if people who have the case if you mounted the liquid cooler on top or in front and wat kind of set up do u have: either push-pull or pull-push. Also any suggestions are welcome thank you
  10. Mostly would be Apex legends, COD, BFV, FFXIV and some RPGs here and there but mostly shooters and MMO
  11. I was wondering if people who have a AMD graphics card and streams what their experience is like. I’ve read that it can be possible with some tweaks here and there but ultimately if I wanted to stream Nvidia was the safer way to go. My goal is too stream on 1440p and I currently use OBS.
  12. So don't know if this has been answered but, is i wondering i do plan to stream content in 1440p most likely and looking into the sapphire Nitro +. Guess my question is if i do decided to go AMD route in GPU, has anyone experienced issues with these cards or any drops in frames and such things.
  13. Probably should of mentioned it in the initial post but since I do plan too stream would the 2070s be the safer bet without having to worry about the issues with the 5700xt?
  14. Advance combat tracker. Mainly use it for MMOs to keep track of my DPS as well as call outs for mechanics and things like that
  15. So would using things such as ACT and or addons during certain games that I play would that be a problem if I was to get the 5700xt ??
  16. Thank you for the link really informative
  17. Sorry forgot to mention that. I am located in the US
  18. So i was originally going to go with a 2070Super the MSI gaming X version. However, i was curious and checked out some of the after market 5700XT such as the Gigabyte and Sapphire and even the MSI version. I play a lot of shooters and i tend to get competitive when playing (BFV, APEX, COD) as well as MMOS and RPS such as XIV, Witcher, Dragon Age, and Tomb Raider. I plan on finally switching over to 1140p 144hz gaming, so i would like a GPU that can handle such tasks and well as delivering high FPS with maxed if not close to max settings. Guess my question is should i stick to my original plan and go 2070 super or would of the 5700xt after market ones be better.
  19. Any recommendations on good gaming monitors, looking for 1440p but wouldn't mind 1080 as well. TN/IPS monitors preffered, and since I'm running 2070 super G-sync would be nice but not necessary. My budget is 200-400 US.
  20. @Juular sorry forgot to ask. Is 2tb m.2 overkill or would 500-1tb be enough for what i plan on doing.
  21. Just out of curiosity was looking intohttps://pcpartpicker.com/product/HNsmP6/patriot-viper-rgb-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3600-memory-pvr416g360c6k. Never really heard of this brand or seen it in too many builds or reviews just wondering if it something worth considering .
