Armaan199 got a reaction from Slayer3032 in I've spent around 1500$ on my build and I'm still getting pathetic performance. Help me build a better one.

Hry guys! I rebuilt my desktop with all your suggestions and its amazing.
    Thanks for all the help.

All MB's and Laptops with M2 slots are PCIe unless keyed not to.

Note the two notches on the SATA M2. Low-end laptops and desktops might be keyed B+M this way so PCIe 4x SSD's can not be inserted. All SATA M2's can be inserted into M keyed NVMe M2 slots unless they're keyed for USB (eg WiFi cards.) B-keyed drives are PCIe 2x or SATA . A-keyed and E-keyed drives are PCIe 1x or USB, and M keyed are PCIe 4x or SATA.

You are unlikely to run into SSD's on the 1x configuration, as the 1x configuration is typically for WiFi, and the USB pins on them are for the 4G modems or Bluetooth.

Some motherboards that have feature connections for WiFi might have the PCIe 1x  A/E keyed slot, so don't use that one for a SSD.

It supports up to PCIe 3.0, what country are you located in?
Assuming USD these are good 500GB NVME options:

These options all offer DRAM cache, and unless you expect to use this drive for heavy read/writes I would just get the P1, best $/GB option.

The motherboard product page often mentions it and the motherboard manual always mentions it.
NVME support is denoted by it mentioning 'M.2 PCIE' support.
Your motherboard supports M.2 SSD's at PCIE 3.0 x4 speeds on both M.2 slots:

Kingston A2000, HP EX950, Sabrent Rocket (not the Q variant).
