  1. Again its because of the supply chain, things which are manufactured locally dont have extravagant taxes on them. Imported items do. As much as I hate the iPhone pricing here, its not something Apple does.
  2. afaik just shifting the same architecture to a smaller node can do wonders for efficiency, but maybe it dont work like that
  3. adblock works flawlessly for me, so I havent seen ads on YT in a while.
  4. I mean why hasn't Intel moved the igpu off die and make it a chiplet design? Having that Igpu as a seperate die could help yeilds and costs, in laptops they could probably have it monolithic, just like AMD does it. Removing it may not be an option, because there are people who need a powerful CPU but not much GPU power. So why dont they just do that?

  6. Import duties on electronics here (in India) start at 27% to 30%, so its not only Apple but any electronic gadget that's overpriced, but Chinese companies have been able to sell stuff for cheap because they have a local manufacturing base. Apple has some plants here too, but i guess margins are more important to them.
  7. Samsung had the s9 and s9+ listed on its site a month back, i'll update the post with a link if its still listed.
  8. well then, you can try Team Speak, its similar to Discord.
  9. I said just TikTok's operations, their Chinese version is an entirely different app. Moreover, the US has the highest number of TikTok users iirc.
  10. Well, if they're (Exynos and Qualcomm variants) gonna be made on the same node, the performance gap should be bridged by atleast a small amount.
  11. Ok, so why cant ByteDance just switch the HQ and Tiktok's operations to another country? Whats stopping them from taking this step, but rather selling Tiktok entirely?
  12. Honestly, I dont think there are gonna be super variants this time around, but if RDNA2 proves competitive, then maybe
  13. I'm not very confident that even an upgraded switch can even max out 4k@60 tho.
  14. I mean, if there's a 4k version of a switch, cant people just dock it to a TV and play at 4k? or can the existing version do that too? Im sure 4k will be a massive upgrade over 720p/1080p (whatever the switch runs at)
  15. If that screen ain't 10 bit 4k HDR 1000 certified. I ain't buyin' it chief.
  16. I've used hand sanitizer to clean some CPUs for some builds i did for family, but I noticed a lot of em had low alcohol and higher water content. So apart from using a lot of that stuff, i didnt face any issues.
  17. Thats a ScammerWerks approved scam. Opt out of it.
