  1. i have thought about just doing that or upgrading to AIO later. i know deepcool the captain series had leak issues because of that tube in the middle but the new castle one does not. it has that new anti leak tech which i do not know if actually helps or not. If i go with deepcool it is cheaper and looks better at least part on cpu but like you said corsair are known to rarely ever leak and i know they have amazing warranty. I just wish their part over the cpu was much better looking. I do some 3d modeling and video editing so i know i can stress the cpu sometimes so that is why i was looking at AIO after seeing videos from like hardware unboxed, and tech yes city. my plan was to all core clock to but some people say its not worth it and leave it stock so still up in the air on that.
  2. My question is surrounded by a few concerns. First im trying to build a system where rgb is done by all of one Software or 2 ,aka set mobo because getting x570 gigabyte master to just red to match my radeon VII and use icue for ram, aio and fans im getting for case. Or i could get the deep cool and other fans that all go along with fusion 2.0 and the only thing that would be one color is the radeon VII. My most concerning after watching lots of reviews because i see it gets great performance but is warranty. I am disabled and the money im getting is from family to build me a new pc since all i can do and use much is my pc, so i would need a warranty if it leaked they would replace cooler and any parts and not be much of a hassle. I read corsair has amazing warranty and they are easy to deal with replacing everything that was dmged if it leaks which i heard is very rare anyway. Deep cool i know their captain series had that issues with the hard tube going to middle but this new one seems to be getting much better reviews overall and has amazing performance. My build coming soon AMD R9 3900x Corsiar vengence pro 4x8gb 3600 Lian Li 011 Dyanmic Case X570 Gigabyte aorus Master ( getting to future proof to buy better graphics card in 2 - 3 years but keep this setup ) corsair 2tb mp510 seasonic focus gold plus 850 power supply Already Own Radeon VII Corsair is on sale atm for 169$ https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Liquid-Cooling/Hydro-Series™-H150i-PRO-RGB-360mm-Liquid-CPU-Cooler/p/CW-9060031-WW?utm_source=PCPartPicker_79301&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=497986_CORSAIR US Product Catalog Ad&utm_content=Content&clickid=1eFXOlWVMxyJW4N05-R4sULoUklTVkU5ISnzVU0&irgwc=1 Deepcool Castle 360EX 129$ https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-360EX-Addressable-Technology-Motherboard/dp/B07S34WNTF/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 ty for any help you can provide. P.S. Yes i could do air but you cant put many of the good aftermarket air coolers in lian li 011 dyanmic case and aios look better. I am going for performance and looks balance.
  3. besides the power supply should i go with cl 16 3200 mhz corsair rgb vengenance 2x 16gb, or should i go for 4x8gb 3600 rgb vengenace or look for 2x 16gb 3600 mhz?
  4. this is the one. https://www.newegg.com/seasonic-focus-plus-850-gold-ssr-850fx-850w/p/N82E16817151188
  5. i dropped it to a seasonic 850 then i should be fine, the 850 right now is cheaper then 750 with a rebate on newegg.
  6. yea my issue is with the recommendation to, and should i just get 2 sticks if i do or go for all 4? i saw they did daisychain on the mobo i wanted so it should get boost from 4 but at the same time it may be cheaper to just get 2 16gb sticks and that would keep it open if i ever wanted to go to 64 gb. problem is they do not have the black vengenance in stock at same price the white one is but the white could work in aesthetics.
  7. so 850 would be fine with a 3900x overclocked and radeon VII overclocked? if there is really not that much difference between 3600 and 3200 i found the corsair 3200 2 x 16b for 160$ on amazon.
  8. are you sure on psu? i used a calculator and it said my peak with my gpu and cpu would be around 774 so i was trying to give a little headroom because from all the research i done if your system uses most of the time half your psu wattage then it will allow the system to go longer.
  9. I have a small channel and i am just making montages for fun, i already have a radeon VII that i love and now ready to upgrade my cpu since the ryzen 3900x came out. This is my current thoughts on build. CPU: AMD 3900X MoBo: GIGABYTE X570 AORUS MASTER Ram: this part im not sure on, i want 32 gbs at least but should i go with 4 8gb sticks or just 2 16 gb sticks? I read it can take a hit on older ryzen not sure how on the new one. I was gonna get corsair vengance rgb ram 3600 and overclock it but it is c 18 the 4x8 gb 3600 and the 2x16 gb is c16. on top of that the 4x8 gb corsair is only made in white i could find and the black is no longer made. I was hoping to maybe setup corsair icue with fans, aio, ram. I would prefer something that could control mobo and all the rest of the rgb at same time but im not sure how good aorus sync is. Case:https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Hwkj4D/lian-li-pc-o11dx-atx-full-tower-case-pc-o11dx Power Supply: was looking at seasonic titanium 1000w because i figured i would need with this setup. GPU: ( already own ) Radeon VII ( will upgrade to 5900xt if it has ray tracing or faster and worth upgrade, thats why i want a pcie 4.0 mobo ) AIO : main one looking at, Corsair - H150i PRO Fans: for case , Corsair - LL120RGB LED (Three Fans With Lighting Node PRO) nvme: Corsair - MP510 1.92 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ( i decided since i have about 2200$ i could not afford pcie 4.0 nvme and will upgrade down the road ) m.2 ssd: Western Digital - Blue 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive Hard Drive: Western Digital - BLACK SERIES 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive I think i posted everything i need for now and main concerns. I know there is a lot of builds right now and questions going on about them. Been building pcs for 20 years but not got to build rgb one yet and first ryzen as my cpu needs a upgrade badly. if you have questions on video editing i use relive to keep instant record on and record stuff after i do it, and i use davinci resolve to edit.
  10. i looked at va at first but the bad responce times had me worried since im use to 1ms.it is the same reason that one ips i was worried to get. i have space for 27 inhes i sit 3 ft from monitor to eyes. the eye strain lowered would be nice i already wear glasses. i am just affraid monitor will make my eyes have to move around screen to much. how was it for you?
  11. lol i ment 4.6ghz, sorry im sick today and my head is very foggy. i can never go below 144hz , 60hz looks like a slide show after getting use to 144hz. i do not want a ultra wide just a 1440p normal size i do not know where i can find in person unless the bestbuy happens to have those models on display. i will look around though see if i can find a place to see. problem with that is to i cant see games or things i look at they usually just have preset thing going but even looking at the desktop im sure i can see a difference. ty for advice so far that is what i was thinking was hands on just hard to find any good ones near me. ill drop by best buy soon see if they have anything worth a crap to look at.
  12. I have a decent setup but will be upgrading mobo, cpu and ram once the new ryzen 3700x comes out. I have a i5 6600k overclocked to 6.6ghz all core boost, 32 gb ddr4 corsair vengance 3000, radeon VII video card. I play some competitive and some not but i am not super competitive in the games.I want to make fun montages from recording games to share with friends and maybe get a little following. I am disabled and with some of my back problems my hands do not always want to work 100% perfect so its hard for me to be competitive. I mostly just play for fun and these are the current games i am playing. fortnite , sea of thieves, satisfactory, diablo 3, waiting for a good mmo to, and division 2. Future games im looking at would be like borderlands 3, maybe getting back into overwatch again, mmo like lost ark or a good sandbox mmo that comes out. I gave this info because this is the question i had. I have 1080p 144hz monitor and my 2nd monitor that does not have vesa mount is 1080p 60hz. I just got a dual monitor stand because i planed on upgrading and moving my corrent 144hz monitor to be my 2nd monitor. My 144hz monitor is Asus VG248QE and what i am planing on doing is making my new main display either 1080p 240hz or 1440p 144 - 165 hz ( matters on what monitor i settle on. ) . My question is should i go for the 240hz 1080p or 1440p 144hz? I do like my 24 inch screen and i sit about 3 ft away when at my desk. I have to lean back in my chair some to take pressure off my back i can not sit up strait. If i go 1440p 144hz the few monitors i found in my price range at max 400$ i see mixed reviews on the few i have been looking at. My list right now is Dell s2719DGF Acer XF270HU ( worried because i am use to 1ms TN panel and this one is 4ms and heard that there is a difference 144hz on tn vs IPS as tn is still faster. ) VIOTEK GFT27DB (2019 TN panel version ) Mbest SM270QHD165 ( a korean no name that has some good reviews but colors not best and affraid to get because would like a decent warranty. ) I have done a lot of research and it is possible i overlooked some but these are what i have come up with so far over the past few weeks of reading and watching reviews. I really want to keep 1ms and 144hz at least with being able to play most games at 100fps or higher and for the few that drop in the 80s make sure i have freesync since i have never had that before either. My cpu holds back my gpu a lot in several games but i know that will get a big boost with the 3700x i am getting. I hope all these made sense as my head is a little fuzzy atm and ty for anyone that can give me any advice. let me know if i need to clarify anything up.
