  1. I was wondering if i could Flash a new bios to my 2070 Super Fe Card to increase power limit. I was also wondering if anyone know what card had the highest power limit of the any of the Reference cards is???? I do have a water block on the card so temp isn't an issue. Yes it shows a 2080 in the pic, but it is a 2070 super under the block.
  2. I have a 2070 super fe card and when I overclock i keep hitting a power limit and so I was wondering if I could flash like a strix bios to up the power limit. It is under a water block so temperatures shouldn't be an issue. I just want to know if this can be done.
  3. I've very recently got my ghost s1 custom cooled, but temps are worse then with the FE card on my 2070 super and and the cpu runs hotter then I think it should and it's a 3700x. It has two noctua a12x25 fans a alphacool NexXxoS step 240mm rad and a alphacool Eisbaer lt Solo pump. And even with max fan speed the gpu hits 83°c also the gpu block is a Ekwb vector block. I've tryed resetting the block and the temps got better but should it be running this hot??? I based the build off of Optimum tech's custom Ghost and he had a 9900k and a 2080ti and his gpu only hit 70°c at stock. I have cooler running parts so shouldn't the temps be even lower then him???
  4. Hey, I just build my ghost s1 and the psu extension cable died. So I am bypassing it temporarily and was wondering if anyone knew how to get ahold of Loque or find a replacement cable.
  5. It's +980 above the base, or at least that's what it shows in msi afterburner.
  6. Wanted to see if I won or lost silicon lottery. I have a founders edition 2070 super. I got +160mhz on core and +980mhz on mem. Avg core clock is 2040. I want to see how I stack up to the compition.
  7. I'm having the same issues as the first post except i have a 3700x and i did a fresh windows install. Same missing drivers and everything. Also now my boot time is much longer then before even though this new install is on a nvme ssd rather then my old install being on sata ssd.
  8. At least for me heat and power wont be an issue, 360 rad and 750 watt power supply. But thank you so far, its interesting hearing your thoughts so far.
  9. Hi, I wanted opinions on whether the 3800x or the 3900x will have a better all core overclock. I ask this because, I want to know if having more cores will limit the max GHz of the 3900x or if they will be about the same.
  10. Okay, so I have some 3600MHz ram and it only runs at 3400MHz which I can live with, but when I put in 2 more sticks of ram at the same speed putting me up to 32gbs in 4 dim slots it became unstable at 3000MHz, so I tested each stick to see what the bad one was to RMA it and all of them booted at 3466 or higher, so why won't they boot at these speeds when all 4 slots are filled. Also running at 1.39v
  11. Okay thank you, I just wasnt sure because there isn't a list saying what motherboards will support Ryzen 3000
  12. I just talked to a Asus representative and they told me my (Asus Prime x470 Pro) motherboard would not support ryzen 3000, is this right? Or was this guy just straight crazy.
  13. And do non a chips preform alot worse or just a little?
