Both are lower end motherboards r5-ASUS A320M-K; i5- Asus prime h310m-r r2.0
I dont know about psu but i have a good one in my old pc i can switch if need be

From those two, i7 3770 for sure. Much faster and still fine even in this era. Both CPUs are still falling behind though. I would only get either if they are like $50 or less. If higher, I would settle for something much better like a Ryzen 1500X or 1600 AF.

Between these two I would get a 3770, because of the extra threads and minimal difference in per-core performance.
Of course, this is assuming and equal price, assuming you can get a motherboard for either easily and assuming something like a first gen Ryzen kit second hand isn't about the same price.

Similar single thread performance, but the i7 3770 is the more powerful CPU thanks to hyperthreading. Hyperthreading didn't make a big difference in games when these CPUs were new, but it makes a bigger difference now. So i7 3770.
