  1. The cooler looks pretty odd (the good odd), but I like it. Would love to get it
  2. In my opinion LTT grew way beyond NCIX, and I find this really cool, as you've done this in less time. I've got one question: can you upload more as fast as possibles? I find them very entertaining and usually give me a new view on certain things. Now I'm going to eat a taco.
  3. £80 Is like the amount of money that is just laying somewhere in my room. Even though it isn't much, I would rather spend it on another 23" screen. Maybe I can find a smaller/cheaper one to run as a fan controller, since the H440 I want to buy has no 5,25" bays. Maybe put it on the top/side or something in a nice case.
  4. That just shows what a great modder you are! It's a really cool project and I hope you'll get boosted to upload moar pictures by that BTW what screen is that and how much did it cost you? I see people implementing touchscreens more and more, but how do you get stuff displayed on it?
  5. Maybe wait till april 8th for the R9 295x? (announcement date, not sure when it's in store), but yeah it would need a beefy GPU to run it at 60fps min (Crossfirex with 2 R9 290/290x's would work too I think).
  6. Since there aren't much 4k monitors on PCPP we could also get one from a different website (like Newegg or something) that way it's the trick to find the best 4k for the lowest amount of money . Otherwise a 4k budget might be a bit overkill (1k monitor with 3k PC is quite overkill in my opinion ) Something like 3k or 2.5k would fit too (but 4K for 4K would look nice as a title). I guess taking a TV wouldn't do the trick due to low response times, but they are twice as cheap .
  7. I think it is time for a 4k build challenge. 4k Is getting pretty popular nowadays since it is getting more affordable.
  8. PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($227.99 @ NCIX US) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($69.99 @ NCIX US) Motherboard: MSI Z87-G43 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($124.99 @ NCIX US) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($76.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Corsair Force Series GS 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($99.99 @ TigerDirect) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.99 @ NCIX US) Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card ($319.99 @ Newegg) Case: Corsair 450D ATX Mid Tower Case ($119.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($44.99 @ Newegg) Keyboard: Corsair Raptor K50 Wired Gaming Keyboard ($59.99 @ Micro Center) Mouse: Corsair Vengeance M65 Wired Laser Mouse ($39.99 @ Best Buy) Headphones: Corsair Vengeance 1400 Headset ($59.99 @ Newegg) Total: $1299.88 (Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.) (Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-03-29 14:34 EDT-0400) Sadly couldn't use the 350D :C Some pictures of the parts. <GPU not in build> Pheripherals
  9. My favorite websites in the Netherlands are probably azerty and alternate, since they deliver your stuff very quick and are quite cheap. I went on and made a nice build for you. Link to the build Total cost €2024 with sending. You could swap out the dual R9 290's, but from seeing benchmarks they get a lot more fps than the GTX 780Ti and cost only €150 more.
  10. I agree, what about a Corsair + Asus build theme? There should be a lot of parts you could use with that (everything ecept CPU's and HDD's) on a like $1500 budget .
  11. Yeah, it probably is a marketing thing. But the vRAM on one board should be able to be used by both GPU's if you think logical. I understand it doesn't do that with SLI/Crossfirex.
  12. How comes most articles I read say the Titan Z has 12GB vRAM? Why shouldn't it stack up?
  13. That build seems a bit on a high budget you could theoretically run 9 displays with it. 1 I guess that 1500W will be enough with those 19 fans, but I don't know exactly how much they draw. 2 Where would you need 12GB of vRAM for? The new Titan Z got it, but I can't see the advantage of it. 3 With the 290x's the heat and noise, but when watercooling that shouldn't be a problem. 4 In that case I would chose for EVGA since the GPU's are a huge part of your budget.
  14. Intel i5-4440 - 1499 krone Crusial 8GB 1600-RAM - 549 krone Kingston 120GB SSD - 599 krone Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD - 449 krone Cooler Master 600W PSU 80+ Bronze - 539 krone Cooler Master Elite 430 red LED case - 498 krone MSI B85-G43 Motherboard - 699 krone MSI GTX760 GPU - 1895 krone Total of 6727 krone Is way better than the prebuild and is also cheaper. EDIT: forgot OS, now it is more expensive ,or you might find it "somewhere". Windows 8.1 (or you could change it) - 895 krone Making it 7622 krone
  15. If you trade in the 16 GB of RAM for 8GB you will have more money for the GPU. The i5 is fine and the SSD is a good option. BTW must say Norwegian looks a lot like Dutch, so I didn't have trouble reading most of it Which website did you have in mind where you will be buying from?
