  1. Aaand... the dropout happened just now making me disconnect and leave from my game.... Tried Windows troubleshoot again, didn't help...
  2. oh, i heard about the "i will cancel my plan... xxx... they will give me a discount xxx" thing from my dad XD.
  3. You guessed correctly, my ISP is Spectrum :). Thanks for the reply!
  4. Welcome to my question; feedback will be appreciated! This is typed by a 13 year old kid. My internet connection keeps dropping every 10 minutes (not my WiFi signal) and lasts around 30 seconds to one minute. When ever I check my WiFi/ internet, it doesn't say that the internet is off. When ever on Discord call, my ping goes very high, up to 300 ms at the highest, and my voice gets choppy; I still can hear other people in the call, and the Discord and other websites become unresponsive and say "www.whatever.website.com" is unresponsive and took too long to respond"; OR it says www.whatever.com isn't sending any data." After the internet drop, the game I play and Discord just quickly reconnect and fast forward. Every time I try Windows Troubleshoot, it says that there's nothing wrong; that there's something wrong with a driver on my WiFi adapter; that i need to unplug my broadband modem; I need a network Reset & restart my PC; or that "your device is correctly configured but (www.microsoft.com) is not responding." I am using my desktop connected to a WiFi extender (Rockwell AC 1200 or RSD0608) Since I do not have a WiFi card, I use a USB WiFi adapter (Linksys WUSB6100M) I have tried using a Ethernet cable from my extender to my desktop (oof) to see if my things would improve. The speed got a bit faster but the 10 minute and 30 second internet drop out was the same. My router is a Linksys EA9400 and my modem is a Linksys CM3008. Download speeds: Speeds with ethernet & extender: ~80 Mbps Speeds with 5Ghz from router ~ 70-170 (Still fast but still suffered dropouts) Speeds extender (extended 5Ghz): ~0.75 Mbps Speeds with extender (had a second channel which was faster than the original 5Ghz extended channel): ~80 mbps with dropouts Speeds with 2.4Ghz channel from router): ~15 Mbps My average Discord ping when the dropout isn't occurring is around 18-24 ms. What is going on with my internet connection??? Is it the router, my modem, ISP, my WiFi adapter, extender, or Ethernet cable???
  5. To the problem, when I was finished building in my first PC build for streaming, gaming, etc, (no over clocking yet); it wouldn’t boot up. I then installed the BIOS speaker into my motherboard, which helped me diagnose that the ram was the problem. I switched the ram sticks into different slots, played with the placement of the sticks, Blah Blah. Found out one stick was faulty, and other is fine and can let me boot. What should I do now? Should I ask Newegg or GSKILL for an RMA? My mom (I am a teenager but I prefer not to say my age for reasons) bought the ram for me on Christmas. (My parents are divorced btw so that’s why it took me a while for me to finish it). If none of them (GSKILL and Newegg) accepts to replace or refund the ram, should I just sell the ram to get other ram from another manufacturer such as OLOy or Crucial? System specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x Motherboard: Asus TUF X570 Gaming (Jon WiFi) RAM: GSKILL Trident Z RGB 2x8 (16GB) GPU: ASUS ROG Strix Rx 5700XT OC (yes I know about the mounting pressure problem)
  6. Looks nice, pretty good! As for the case, its a matter of personal preference. You can try to go for a black and white build, or just a black build the Phanteks case looks like you won't get much airflow though, you can get this NZXT case tough for cheaper and better airflow https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-H510-Management-Water-Cooling-Construction/dp/B07TC76671/ref=sr_1_2?crid=F7NR4NYTH4KG&keywords=mid+tower+computer+case&qid=1583899163&s=electronics&sprefix=MID+towerc%2Celectronics%2C211&sr=1-2 Sorry for long url lol
  7. It looks like a good build tho, what cpu cooler are you using
  8. Don't worry, i don't think 750 watts is overkill. I (sadly) own an Alienware Aurora R8 with i7 9700k and 2080 super with 850 watts which I got for $1500 from a promo code
  9. I don't think the 2080 super's minimum PSU watt recommendation is 550 watts
  10. Or if you're just going for a fully modular PSU under $120, then i would recommend the Corsair RM750, Corsair RMX 750, Seasonic FOCUS Plus Gold 750 watt, and EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750 watt
  11. What type of PSU you want, Bronze, Gold, Titanium, Platinum, ect?
  12. wrong link bro, don't copy the link from the way top, above the bookmarks. You should copy the link on the website next to where it says markups
