Pc has been crashing A LOT lately, roughly every half hour / hour. Just wondering if any of this might give me a clue as to what’s causing the problem

When I open Spotify and a game eg rocket league at the same time Spotify stutters so much and sometimes causes my pc to restart. Hardware acceleration is off and every other solution I’ve seen online hasn’t worked. Anyone have any other ideas?

Borderless window works excellently but some games do not have this, most games do so it’s a solution for now

It happens in all games and even in steam and chrome etc...

Yes my monitor and game are both set to 144hz

I recently set up a new 144hz monitor in addition to my older 60hz monitor. When I’m gaming I easily achieve the 144fps but when I alt+tab to do something on the 60hz my FPS drops to roughly 20 and graphic quality also severely drops. Also, the 144hz monitor often goes black for multiple seconds at a time. So far the only way to restore FPS is with a full pc restart. I tried unplugging the 60hz to see if it was the fact I was using 2 monitors but nothing changed. Could getting software that allows me to use my other monitor without alt+tab be a solution? If so could anyone recommend any free options for this.

They’ve been working fine for over a year now but all of a sudden when I add another hdd this happens:( I have Lenovo is6xm and intel i5-2500

I have no idea why my pc randomly freezes then crashes. I recently installed a new hardrive and have transferred data from my old c drive to it. In task manager and other software it says there is no problem, other than cpu usage spiking at points. I have newest Nvidia drivers for my gtx 1060. Please help

I should add that my audio has been laggy and my mouse stutters when I open programs.

I’ve recently transferred games and other programs to a new HDD. I haven’t touched Windows or anything I didn’t know how to transfer safely. Now all of a sudden my pc is freezing, restarting, disconnecting from monitor and running games at 4 FPS. And I am clueless as to why. I’ve tried reinstalling graphics drivers, checked for viruses and checked all fans are working and everything that should have a light on has a light on. Please help

I need more sata ports but I only have 1 PCIe port which my graphics card uses. I’ve seen a couple but many PCI to SATA adapters but none are compatible with Windows 10 64-bit. Can anyone give me another way to get more SATA ports or find a PCI to SATA adapter that will work? Thanks :)
