  1. Thanks I will try as you suggested but unfortunately this issue has been happening for months so I don't know what windows update could have caused it I was able to use it for a while before I tried fixing the issue so I could use a wireless adapter instead of Ethernet but by resting the network devices I caused the error to also occur for my Ethernet adapter. If that makes sense
  2. Building yourself is cheap and is really easy there are so many tutorials online.
  3. I have used blender for years personally I use a 1070 and it works just fine. You can go higher or lower it's up to you. You don't technically need a gpu cause by default blender uses CPU but it's much slower. If you do get one make sure enable cuda in preferences and select your new gpu.
  4. I don't think that key would work that is more for once your in you computer you can use it to log into websites, games, apps... etc. If it does work for windows login I would be quite surprised.
  5. Been trying to fix this for weeks I have look everywhere but could never find a solution the most I found was to system restore which I don't have or to clean install which I also can't do cause I have 4tb of data I would like to keep. What I have tried is resetting network, deleting drivers that could interfere including disabling any VPNs, and I tryed safe mode and still does not work even in safe mode. I know it's not a hardware issue because arch works fine as well as my kvms. I just though I would ask here before trying to backup and clean install.

I tried updating drivers I tried dismantling my computer and reseating everything (If that even does anything) tided running programs that optimize games (It did nothing to help the problem). even more strange when I use my computer for blender work it still runs worse then my old one. I have no idea what could cause this if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
