  1. Yeah sorry, there is a retailer (Memory Express link below) but I got the kit at 2933 and stable so I'm good and sadly, I do not currently have enough money to buy another cpu/ram kit. I was asking the question in hopes that I new what kit to buy once I have money. Thanks https://www.memoryexpress.com/
  2. Sorry about the vary late reply, some stuff came up. I OC'd the ram to 2933Mhz/1.3V after running a memtest and it came up with errors, I tried upping the voltage to 1.4 and, errors. I decided to set the voltage to auto and now no errors after 10 hours of memtest. Thanks. I am still wondering if I should grab the higher quality corsair set and if it's worth it. Thanks again and sorry for the late reply.
  3. I have absolutely no use for it and wondered if it's worth anything, not even like 100$?
  4. Ok then, I will run that tommorrow bc I've got to go to bed rn sorry. Thanks, Have a great day
  5. How would I run a ramtest (what program should I run)? Also no clue what IMC means. SOrry about this but I an all self taught and don't know pretty much anything other than the basics and what people on the forums have taught me. Thanks
  6. even when I try to get 2666 it blue screens sorry. and I don't think that my cpu is bad, 4Ghz base clock speed on all cores and all. I could be wrong thought, I seem to be very good at that too.
  7. R3 2200G 4c/4Ghz and a GIgabyte B540 Aorus elite but after I buy the ram I plan to upgrade my mobo to an msi one or something.
  8. If that's the case, I will save up for the 2x8 thanks
  9. even if I could oc it with docp, in another thread I asked why my pc kept blue-screening and figured out that my motherboard's controller is crap. Just kinda wondered for when I buy myself a new motherboard.
  10. So I am about ready to upgrade from 8Gb to 16Gb of ram. I am currently sporting a set of G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 CL16 running at 2133 because my crap motherboard just refuses to give me anything else without blue screening as soon as I put in my password. I was wondering whether I should buy a whole new set of corsair ram or to simply add another set of the G.Skill one. It would save me 45$ (CAD) but I don't know how that may affect it and I am sure that I can sell my current ram for a bit of cash to cover the extra price. I would also like to state that my current ram is "up to 3200" meaning that it does not run at 3200 out of the box and I am running an AMD system so I can't use XMP. Thanks for the help. 11. So I started playing video games on a WII and my dad's PS3, but once I saved up a bit of money, I decided to buy myself a computer in order to play some games with my (still) best friend. Now it's been a few years since then and I have now built my very own PC and have upgraded it a few times. This laptop is simply sitting around doing nothing and I am thinking of selling it on Kijiji (Canadian craigslist) but have no idea how to price it. It's decked out with only the latest and greatest A6-5200 4c/2Ghz, Radeon 8400 w/512Mb vram, 750Gb 5200 Rpm HDD, 8Gb DDR3L (could someone also tell me what the L is?) and a nice 15.5"LED LCD. I would also like to note that it has a full keyboard (numpad) and the I/O is not bad either; 1x Ethernet, 1x VGA, 1x HDMI, 3x USD 2.0 and an optical drive slot (no drive, but it does have a dust cover). Could anyone tell me how much this would be worth? Thanks

    Help!

depending on the budget, meybe look for a R5 or R7, preferably 2nd gen bc the prices on those just dropped
  13. I don't think so, I used to be able to not see the pixels so when I turn on my monitor and all of a sudden it's grainy I don't think its just a poor quality monitor
