  1. I did not ask for a concrete answer in my post, but for people's opinion, based on previous launches and etc. I have like no idea how prices for the 2000 series were moving.
  2. On the image above you can see that after asking about when the 3000 series would go back to MSRP, my post got removed from the NVIDIA reddit not long after. I dont see any of the reasons above to be a reason for this post being removed. Everyone in there was civil and can give you screenshot of the rest of the comments.
  3. Might try that later, but cant really be asked to move stuff again. I adjusted the fan curves in BIOS, didint get much temp improvements , but played with the voltage and manage to get stable 85C.
  4. The temps I showed in the original post are without the front panel. EDIT: I want the radiator to get in fresh cool air, when gaming it can result in taking a lot of heat from my Vega 64.
  5. Hi guys, So recently I upgraded to Ryzen 5 3600 from my 1600 and today I decided to do some overclocking. I am keeping the memory fabric 1 to 1 and overclocked my RAM as much as possible. So, now the highest stable I can get in terms of temps and voltage is 1.325 with 4400 on all cores. That being said, it reaches 87-90 degrees celsius with small Prime95 FFTs test. My cooler is Coolermaster ML240L and use two Arctic P12 PWM, not the ones that came with the AIO. I tried to reapply the thermal paste, also made sure the cooler has good contact with the CPU as well. My case has a good airflow, using 2 120mm exhaust fans and 2 as intake for the cooler(due to case constrains). Idle temps I get are around 35 to 40 degrees as well. I really dont know what do to improve my temps as I believe the cooler should be doing a better job.
  6. Hi fellow PC builders, I will show my current build under and now would proceed towards my plan and questions. First, as will be getting late into Uni, fall 2020, wont be doing any major upgrades on my PC due to uncertainty if I will be staying in London or out. My plan was to upgrade my current CPU to third gen Ryzen and not buy any new part for at least 2 years. After that would sell everything from my current rig, or almost and do fully new upgrade. Would like to have a machine with the following features/specs/purpose- 4K gaming and video, high refresh rate(at least 75), 2nd monitor with similar aesthetics but cheaper, custom water cooling and some small scale game development will be done on it as well. What budget is reasonable that would cover these things in 2 years time ? 7. Sadly, I it got thrown away by mistake and already checked Oculus' website.
  8. How do I even find the model for such a piece ? How is it even called ? Thats my issue here mainly, cant look for a piece that I dont have name of.
  9. Hi, So due to strange reasons, I managed to brake the following part of my sensor - http://prntscr.com/o8nzob. Essentially the part that the mounts/stands attach to and allows it to tilt forwards and backwards. Can I find a replacement of it ? The old piece got thrown away while cleaning the house and realised just today when trying to setup my VR again.
  10. Hi, I am a BTEC student and had given up due to deadlines on doing the Ds for my Maths unit, I have time until today or latest tomorrow to complete this task, but really have no idea what to look for and how to do it. I have no assignment brief, just the assessment grading and criteria. In order to get it I need to do the the following - Design an addressing scheme for a network with multiple subnets, utilising CIDR, justifying your choices. Here is what the assessor would look when grading - D1 could be dealt with by giving learners a case study of a network with, say, three subnets containing 1000, 200 and 30 hosts respectively and getting them to design subnet addresses and masks to optimise the allocation of IP addresses. I dont want anyone doing it for me, just pointing the way of what to learn in order to do the task successfully. Keep in mind my networking knowledge is limited, but I am a fast learner. Also, I am aware there is already a post with answer to this, but doesn't really help me as my tutor hadn't even tough us anything related to the subject.
  11. What would you say is the highest and safest overclock in general with the R5 1600 ?
  12. Hello guys, Last week, I had posted in the GPU part of the forum that my monitors would lose signal or restart, usually while in-game. So, I presumed that it was my GPU and didn't mention my CPU overclock. Couple days ago, I tried to get my Ryzen 5 1600 to 3.9, but the mentioned black screens became more frequent, even started happening on the desktop. Decided to lower my overclock back to 3.8 and put the voltage on auto as it usually sets it higher than it needs to. This essentially resolved the issue, until I started streaming some CS:GO, I still had sound of everything that happened in game, but no signal. No idea what is the issue, as only tweaking with the CPU makes difference, but it acts like its a GPU one. Here are my specs, sorry for any potential grammar mistakes: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor £115.19 @ Newegg UK Motherboard MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard £89.99 @ Box Limited Memory Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Storage Samsung - 860 Evo 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive £51.24 @ Aria PC Storage Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive £34.99 @ Amazon UK Video Card Sapphire - Radeon RX VEGA 64 8 GB NITRO+ Video Card £360.79 @ Overclockers.co.uk Case NZXT - S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case Operating System Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit Monitor AOC - G2460PF 24.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor £198.33 @ Aria PC Monitor AOC - G2460VQ6 24.0" 1920x1080 75 Hz Monitor £123.99 @ Box Limited Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total £974.52 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-05-10 22:20 BST+0100 THE PSU IS THE FOLLOWING - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/kolink-continuum-850w-80-plus-platinum-modular-power-supply-ca-03a-kk.html
