It will feel more fluid than a lower FPS, but a video at 60fps will typically feel more fluid than a game at 60fps due to motion blur.

    most of the time yeah.
Or you can upload to a file host and let people download the whole video (not streaming)

Which means (I guess) that you can do 4k120, but only to watch it yourself, provided you have a display that has a high enough refresh rate.

Maybe a little but not as much as you might think! The 7600x is a gaming beast!  Here is a 10 game average at 1080p and 1440p from Hardware Unboxed with a RTX 4090!, You can see the 7600x keeps up very well.  You can see at 1440p it does amazingly well.
Nothing to worry about mate. Enjoy your new GPU.

KEIN NEIN reacted to igormp in Is the Galaxy S23 worth $500 more than the Poco F5?
I have a S22 that I went for solely for its size, since the rest of the hardware ends up being underutilized by me (I mostly use it for social media and rare pictures). However, money was not a problem for me and I opted to spend more in my ergonomics (I really HATE larger phones, and the s22 is already close to unuseable for me).

I don't think you can go with custom roms on the S22/S23 lineup, but I may be wrong.

If size is really important for you, then go for the S23, otherwise it's better to go with the cheaer option.

Definitely, I'm using a lower quality 650W with one while maxing out an 8600k and had a 2080 on it before that which uses more power.

Call me a pessimist but strongly believe the old Rockstar is dead. Locked up in shackles by Take2, barely having a say on its own, having to follow whatever management thinks will earn the most amount of money. I'd say Rockstar on GTA 4 and before is the equivalent of Mercedes before the 2000's, when the engineers had the last say.

When GTA 5 released I noticed something was off. Game felt very casual, simplified... boring. And that's exactly what happened to the game. Crowbcat had a great video that I instantly understood why I felt the lack of excitement that I did after I watched the video. It feels like marketing knows a ton of kids play GTA so you gotta simplify many elements of the game so that the kids keep playing, aren't overwhelmed by features you gotta learn like driving the car in GTA 5 and keep buying the shark cards.

Even RDR2 looks like a reskinned GTA 5. They didn't even bother fixing the cops...
Rockstar no longer pushes the envelope, the limits, the outrage. It's Take2 who now keeps pushing on our wallets.

It will be just one city, three reasons why.

Lore wise. Vice City has been alone and cashing in on the fan service is a wise move. I can see us getting a ton of countryside as that was cut out from Vice City, fans could get to see what Vice City was meant to look like. They for some reason cut down on SA and just made Los Santos its own thing in GTA 5. Management would love the idea of selling you new cities as DLC. Mix that up with the fan service, makes a lot of sense if I was selfish. Release the game with one city, recreated for the fans as fan service and then sell new cities separate cause you know, "it's new and wasn't in the old games."
With Take2's treatement of mods pretty much made me never want to buy another Take2 game ever again unless they change. If the only power we have is voting with our wallets, I guess it is what it is.

No, i knew what you were referring to here. I remember that GTA 6 leak too last year, the one thats not a shithouse clickbait made by MrBossFTW so he can continue paying that spiralling rent of his failure of a life.

Its just that there's so little echoes that that leak only gave me an hour of excitement before i just have to sit stalled waiting on nothing. R* doesnt know a damn about hype.

I think he's saying his own suggestion is a random justification, as in, he picked no region in particular to justify his point.

Expanding beyond America's borders would make for a unique game but the majority of GTA players are most familiar with the US and that's important to note because a lot of GTA's narrative consists of parody or satire regarding American culture and politics. GTA without those elements would be neutered, and trying to create that sort of narrative about an unfamiliar place would be foreign to a lot of players.

I like your idea though. I'd love to play an open-world game with the depth and style of GTA but in a region that hasn't really been explored in gaming before. I think it's possible that we'll see a small-scale version of a Mexican or Cuban city with VI since it's expected to take place in Vice City. It would make sense since those areas have been in American media a lot in the last few years, too.

I think this is going way too out of topic.

The answer on what PSU to buy is simpler:

    - Find a PSU that is high-quality and has the right connectors/features for your build.

    - Figure out how much wattage you need

    - Compare price-to-performance and give it a shot, that's all.
  23. Agree
KEIN NEIN got a reaction from Spotty in PSU Calculation
they just TEND to be, that's not to say all non-modular PSUs are crap there is the bitfenix formula which is better than most PSUs out there.

Corsair CX non M is even better internally than the semimodular version, and then there's the be quiet pure power 11 which is better than a lot of EVGA, seasonic, corsair and other branded units.

So, modular isn't necesarily good. Indeed going modular is electrically worse (not to the point where it really matters but it is)

So I think you misinterpreted my message, I never meant it's not nice to have, I'd go modular all day long if I can, specially at high wattages due to the cable clutter but what I actually said was:
and it is very often overvalued, the moment someone says "you have to buy a modular PSU", the momeny you imply it is MUST
Well you personally wouldn't and I do respect that, but we aren't sure about what the OP personally would or wouldn't, we can't help the OP by simply guessing.

I never commented otherwise, but you shouldn't say something is low-quality because it was not made by delta.

It depends on the CPU/GPU and the power limit you set

I wouldn't buy a 550W for such a system, even if it where enough. Why?

Ofc it all comes down to where he lives but going 650W would signify spending an extra $5 or 10, going 750W would signify spending another $5 or 10

Is that too much of a expenditure for a PSU upgrade? I don't think so, specially in the specific case you pointed out, you are talking about $2000+ worth of hardware.

And 550W PSUs (even good ones) usually don't come with dual PCIe cables. Neither do they come with dual EPS cables, in some cases not even the 650W version includes them. For instance, the corsair RM750i which is one of the best PSUs doesn't include a second EPS connector.

False, if you compare to high-end PSUs internally you would encounter that they use the very same parts except for some components on the primary,

Long story short, you compare a 450W, 550W and 650W from the same manufacturer and model (Straight Power 11 for example) assuming IT'S THE SAME DESIGN (similar components and thus, same strain), SAME ENCLOSURE, SAME FAN (same heat and noice) so thermodynamics prove you wrong because if we loaded those three to 450W there wouldn't be too much (if any) of a difference

So long as the manufacturer decides to use the same platform (or design) that is completely false, as you will get the same PSU with a slightly modified primary side and higher OCP/OPP triggering point.

    Right

KEIN NEIN reacted to GoldenLag in PSU Calculation
If you get a good PSU that isnt an issue.

Also its for peak loads. Meaning it will never actually run close to the limit. More closely to 50-60%.

Hence a good 550 watt PSU is all you need.
