  1. Yes, but the temps will be fine either way. The chip will hit the wall before it reaches the temp wall. Not worth the extra work so that is why no one does it.
  2. Then why not use a regular radiator? For your use, this has no advantage vs regular watercooling.
  3. Seems like a hassle for no gain. If the water is not chilled, your loop will only be as cool as room temperature. Also are you going to keep refilling the water? Seems like a lot of hassle for the same temps. Also for overclocking, the heat in a custom loop isn't an issue fore 24/7 use. A loop will easily cool the highest voltage safe enough for constant use.
  4. I would think a 780 could max it out pretty easily. Depends on how well they port it though. GTA 4 was a terrible port.
  5. It is a ghost. But really, probably heat. Any error message when you turn it back on? What are your temps and cooling? How big is your PSU also? That could be it.
  6. Unfortunately, I'm not sure they could do that and the backlash would be insane. They can't change what they're going to announce so soon to the conference.
  7. My specs are in my Sig. Wouldn't change much about it besides maybe a Asus Formula. If I could get a better overclocking CPU, that would be great also.
  8. I had originally bought a Vapor X 290x. I must have had a bad card because it ran at 95c. I sent it back and got a 780Ti. I didn't really like the AMD control panel thing either. I've always had Nvidia and had a bad experience with AMD. Nvidia is getting a little too confident. I really wish they would release a just insanely good card and blow AMD out of the water. They have enough money to do so. Make a $800 beast.
  9. I would get a better Cooler. I had an AIO in the air 540 and it looked extremely good.
  10. As much as I like Nvidia, they really need to step up performance wise. Just have the 980 be 10% better than the 780Ti. Then release a ridiculous 980Ti if AMD comes back. If Nvidia wants to have their prices as high as they are, they're going to need to really throw out a good card.
  11. Well My loop includes the GPU but I have the res and pump mounted in the back. A CPU loop would be a little more difficult to route. I can't really think of anything to be honest.
  12. I really liked my blues for gaming. I only play FPS games though so I don't need to double tap much. Browns are lighter but tactile switch. Reds are a light but non tactile switch.
  13. Blues are the best for typing but the browns are quieter. I'm typing this on browns after coming from blues. Wish I had stuck with blues to be honest. If you want to type as fast as possible, blues are it. Reds however are not very good for typing. I would personally say get blues if you can. If not get browns. But if you only want to game and that is it, reds are fine. But if you need to type even an essay, browns are where you should be if you can't get blues. I know that made no sense so: Blues: Get these if possible. Beware they are loud. If you don't need to type essays or anything, these don't have a huge point. Browns: Get these if noise is an issue. If not get blues. Reds: I would never get these personally but if you game exclusively, I don't think there would be an issue.

  15. I can't get 4.3 at 1.3v, 1.35v does the trick... You lost like me.
  16. From a random guy, not really. Just need to know how to reinstall a driver... Don't need remote connection for that.
  17. Linus was banned for working with Russian pirates to steal nvidia's cargo ship of the 900 series. Sucks. Shouldn't have said anything on the WAN show Linus!
  18. They see me rolling.... (Continue the song. #startatrend)

  19. That includes work and stripping cables though.
  20. It is still true. Nvidia as a whole is worth much much more anyway.
