My motherboard currently has an NVMe drive installed and I can confirm that it supports NVMe. I have a 2.5 inch inland ssd and its pretty slow so I don't doubt what you're saying.

So my PC case it the PC-011 dynamic which has terrible 2.5 inch ssd support. I am wanting to get the M.2 form factor.

So today I will be picking up a new SSD at Micro Center. I want to get the 1TB WD Blue but i don't see it on their website (they sell WD Blues SSDs in 2.5 inch). So my question is, Would you trust a Micro Center brand M.2 SSD in terms of reliability? (This is just in case they do not have the WD Blue.)

If you have the money go for the dual 2080TI's. You will save $100 and get way more performance. The RTX Titan is barely better for gaming than a single RTX 2080 TI.

If you've got the cash, buy the EVGA black edition and slap a waterblock on it. That will probably be the best option for a quiet GPU.

I had the same issue. Try re-seating the GPU, that's what worked for me.

That might be it, try resetting the CMOS. Short the two pins labeled "CMOS" with a screwdriver while the PC is turned on. The motherboard may be holding on to some old GPU drivers.

Check to see if you have any background processes running while you are gaming. Clean your PC Open it up and dust it out with some compressed air. Fans are much less effective when covered in dust. (Additional suggestions) Run Ccleaner just in case. Maybe try doing a re-install of Windows.

Is this a completely new PC or has there been a different GPU inside of it before?

So this happened to me, you have to take the GPU out and use the integrated graphics. From there, install the drivers for your GPU (Geforce experience if you have Nvidia) and shut the computer off. Re-install GPU, go back and check for more driver updates.

A0 means that the PC successfully booted, ASUS has strange keys to get into the bios though. Try using the DELETE key (works for me every time), F2 or F10. I do not believe that F12 works, at least not with mine.

These computers are at a client and are constantly in use so I would rather not do a clean install.

Hey everyone, I am currently having an issue with a couple of computers (one Windows 7 and one Windows 10 respectively) that have some sort of issue with the Windows update service. Both of these computers have that "Restart your computer to finish installing important updates" prompt. The issue is that they have both been restarted multiple times and the prompt still does not go away. It is also important to note that both of these computers are fully updated, even with updates from online. I have tried; 1. Editing the registry 2. Commands in Command Prompt 3. Windows Update troubleshooter None of these have worked. This problem has been going on for a while now and I really need to get it fixed, does anyone have any ideas on how I could do this?

I am from the U.S. and my budget is right around $1,500. macOS is the supported OS for most of the programs I will be using (Prime, Logic Pro X, Helix Editor, etc.). I would prefer something a bit lighter because my current laptop is a huge dinosaur. It would probably be best if battery life is on the mid-high range of the spectrum.

I have had some experience with Mac OS and there doesn't seem to be too much of a learning curve. I know a good bit of Windows and Linux so I think it would be fun to get to know Mac OS.

I don't know how I feel about Lenovo. From my experience with them in the IT industry, their products aren't that great. If I were to get a windows PC I would go with a Surface Pro or a Surface Book.

Hey guys! This is my first post so, yay... I guess. I am graduating high school in the next week and will be heading off to college in a year or so to get a degree in music performance and music production. Because of this I will be using plenty of programs to produce music and run tracks, etc... I have been PCMR for my entire life and have not used any apple products in the last 2 years. It seems that most people recommend Macbooks for anything to do with video/audio production so that is what I am leaning towards.
