  1. What language are you using?

    Visual basic?

    C#?

    C++?

His utilization of the word 'module' leads me to suspect VB. If that is the case then you would be looking at automation using the COM interface/s office installs. This method relies on the prerequisite that office/Excel is actually present on the target system. Alternatively you can utilize a library such as SmartXLS that will work with the Excel files directly i.e. you won't need Excel to be present - although it's not free.

    Yes it is vb

You don't have to place it in a excel spreadsheet do you?

Else you can just format it right, and give it an .csv extention.

Then you can easily import it to any spreadsheet software.

i don't need it to be a excel spreadsheet, just want to know how to actually access the email and its contents

  2. Firstly i made a program on visual studio for my parents business to do the whole roster system on the computer, I have the email module working (where the user logs in, enters hours worked, date, ETC) and when they push the button it emails to a separate email setup for the roster system. I was wondering if there was a way to make a separate module to take the data from the email and have it automatically placed into a excel spreadsheet, In case you were wondering this is to have as little errors as possible and to make it more streamlined because i hope to sell it to the rest of the franchise.

If you guys need anything such as code or screenshots, let me know

    Thanks,

  3. I am really considering purchasing an ultrawide, but am wondering if its worth adding into my existing multimonitor set up (2x Dell u2713hm's). I wonder if it'll look odd having slightly mismatched monitors, and I wonder if I should just dump the u2713's for 1 ultrawide.

What have other multimonitor user done?

if they are the same or similar height it suod be fine, ive actually thought about this aswell

  6. Good evening LinusTech community!

As it is my first post, I'd like to say "Hello" to all of you. Hope you're having a good time!.

Currently I am thinking of upgrading something on my rig, but I am not quite sure what. I am stuck between a new CPU and a new graphics card.

    Currently I run:

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K @ 3.40 GHz

GPU: nVidia Geforce GTX 660 Ti, 4GB.

The rig still runs fine (games and other programs run smoothly), but I do expect this system to show it's age soon.

If you really had to, what would you upgrade? Would you get a new CPU (if so, which one?) or a new GPU (if so, which one?)?

    Cheers,

    Hatchet

PS: forgive me for the lack of more information, as I am currently unsure what else I could include here.

I would get a new GPU but wait till the Christmas sales start, if u live in Australia there is a place called PCCG and they have some good deals
