Yes, i plan to do VMs mostly. the rest would be minor graphics rendering and media server.

Hello all, I am planning to build a home lab and need some expert advice. I have a budget of $1000 USD. This is my first build and I would also like it to be a small form factor build (but not so super small though :D). I am thinking: 6 cores+ht (Ryzen 5 2600/2600x) 32gb RAM (64gb if possible) GPU (open to options here. wont be doing much gaming but might want to do some graphics rendering) Case ( thinking of Lazer3D LZ7 or something similar in this size) The above are just what I was trying to link together from various videos I have watched so I really am open to a better build as long as its within budget. Thank you.
