  1. u asked for logs, that file is directly from msi afterburner. Screenshot? I already took millions... Still think it's fake? Download the bios I uploaded on 1st msg and test it by yourself. Still wanna think it is fake? Just ignore this thread then lol
  2. https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/36579406 HardwareMonitoring.hml as you can see on this html file(from msi afterburner) it was running at 2164mhz(only downclocking when changing benchmarks, cuz it isn't rly needed for GPU to max out clock if there isn't any load)
  3. https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/36579140 strangely benchmarks scores didn't improved using overclock
  4. yup. I will run Firestrike soon(i am downloading it -- 1mb/s internet)
  5. There isn't enough proof to you? And no, I'm not "TROLLING"
  6. different cpu and other different components... need to be exact same spec to say if my OC is useless or not lol
  7. While I am downloading 3DMark(I did stock vs overclocked on 1080p medium and it was ~4500(stock) vs ~7200(overclocked)
  8. I will download Firestrike and will send SS here
  9. with increased voltage for such core clock, I agree with you. I just decided to decrease voltage and it worked stable, so temps decreased a lot(I was running it at 1.35mv and temps were nearly 90ºC with 1.7Ghz)
  10. When I started overclocking it(through bios mod) I increased both voltage and power. When I finally hit around 1.7Ghz I decided to decrease voltage and I managed to hit 1.125mv stable(the minimum I got, I tried 1.1mv and it was buggy af). So after that I decided to increase power a little more and increased OC a little(to something like 1.75Ghz) and it worked... Increased more and more till hit maximum on the program(Maxwell Bios Tweaker) and somehow it is stable. I even tried to increase it more using MSI Afterburner but it didn't worked(it isn't increasing core clock and stopped from being stable after +1 core clock). I used it for 1 month(games, daily usage, benchmarks) and here I am
  11. The bios file is there for u guys test it(as you don't believe me). BTW I posted SS, uploaded the file and still say that is fake without even testing it... nice arguments
  12. Hi guys, after seeing a Topic(that is closed) in this forum about Bios modding GTX 970/980, I tried contacting the creator of the thread to send me his bios mod(no success). After some days, I decided to tweak the bios by myself and learned almost everything on maxwell bios tweaker. Stock GTX 970 clocks: 1126mhz/3505mhz(core/memory) 1266boost(core clock) [Galax OC edition] ---- 1.212mv My Bios modded GTX 970 clocks: 2164mhz/4111mhz(core/memory) NoGpuBoost(disabled boost) ---- 1.125mv (yeah, I undervolted it and it is stable) Tested on games and benchmarks, working great for daily usage, temps not going over 75ºC(Custom fan curve, air cooled) FPS test on Rocket League menu(I have disabled 250 FPS limit): BEFORE= ~200fps AFTER= ~300fps PS: Make sure you have a good PowerSupply(I have a 700w 80plus gold). Max PowerConsuption(W) I measured was around 170W(using GPU-Z). with this bios mod I actually improved by 50% the performance of my gtx 970 and also decreased frametime a bit. If you guys wanna give my bios a try, I will leave the file uploaded here. Cheers GTX970_2Ghz.rom
