  1. Thanast, try what this man says, i did and he solved my problem. i had another thread with a problem with a razer naga epic, i read your post to see if i could help, and i ended up with the solution to my problem. so now i´m saying, give it a try, scaryjam823 might solve your problem too
  2. YOU sir are the person i love the most right now... sounds bad with my girlfriend next to me, but i love you!! followed the instructions you gave to another member and it happened to be the fix to my problem. changed the usb settings and BOOM! pc recognized, installed and ran my Naga Epic. Thank you very much and may god bless you with many children... and money to raise them
  3. you and me both! hahahahaha damn thing is here taunting me on my desk
  4. Sorry? you helped a lot, at least we brain-stormed a little, we could have came up with the solution, but you can´t win all the battles
  5. i have updated both the dock and the mouse firmware to the latest using a friends pc. if nobody else has any other ideas i´m gonna have to contact razer, haven´t heard really good comments about their customer service, but i´ll have to give it a try
  6. already thought about that too. updated bios and activated legacy usb option just in case that was the problem. i apreciate all the help
  7. i didn´t have to do anything really. just plug the mouse in and windows would automatically detect and install the plug n play drivers and you could use the mouse normally like any other usb mouse, the only exception is if you wanted to use the full power of it you have to install razers software to be able to program the buttons, lights, dpi, etc. that´s why i don´t understand whats wrong with my pc, because windows doesn´t even recognize it as a mouse, keyboard or anything.
  8. working perfect on other people´s pc only problems are with my pc. i have already installed both razer drivers (legacy and synapse) before posting my problem here and none would recognize a device since windows would mark it as "unknown device", the mouse doesn´t have on/off switch, it has a wireless/wired switch (i have it on the correct side depending whether im testing it wired or wireless). the only thing i have right now that can act as a usb hub, is my keyboard that has 2 USB ports, and it gives me the same problem plugging it in these ports too.
  9. at first i used it wireless with the dock reciever plugged into the pc, it gave me the error, then used it wired, plugging the mouse directly into the pc in wired mode and still have the same error. so doesn´t matter if its wired or wireless, it is giving me the same problem, "USB device not recognized".
  10. I have updated everything or at least i think i have unless i missed one. used device manager to check for available updates for everything and also went to asus page and installed one by one
  11. Keyboard has 2 additional USB ports (Logitech G19) same problem within windows
  12. My pc has no USB 3.0 ports, so that isn´t gonna be the problem, if only it was that easy... i did try every single usb port i have (10 USB ports total) and same problem in every single port; also tested the mouse on my girlfriends laptop, cousins laptop, and multiple friends laptops and desktops (some windows 7 and some windows 8) so i would say the mouse is ok, and the problem is in my rig. Edit: no other usb device is giving any issues (logitech G19, Mx performance mouse, c310 webcam and G35 headset (im not a logitech fanboy if you´re wondering ))
  13. hello everyone! i´m in desperate need for help. where can i begin... i bought a razer naga epic mouse and its been giving me problems since day 1. my pc is running windows 7 ultimate x64 and it won´t recognize the mouse and it will give an error that says "usb device not recognized" and mark it as "unknown device" in devices and printers. i returned the mouse in exchange for another in case it was DOA, but the new one gave me the same problem. since then i did everything i could think of: updated bios, chipset, every driver on my pc and am still getting negative results. downloading the razer driver or synapse doesn´t resolve anything because it does not detect any razer device (since windows doesn´t even know what device it is). i am out of ideas and need help. my motherboard is an -ASUS P8H61-M LE (H61 B3 Revision), processor: intel i3-2100 3.10GHz, 8GB ram, Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti. thank you for everything in advance, and let´s see if we can solve this together.
