  1. Its all fixed now, i deleted the software's and shut down my pc for two minutes and that seems to have fixed it. It wasnt the headset as it was set up wirelessly through an app which i closed before the issue started. My specs are in my bio if you are interested but its irrelevent as the issue has been resolved, i appoligise for this being in the wrong thread and there is no way that i know of to delete it.
  2. I apolagise in advance that this is in the wrong form, but there's not much i can do about it as i will explain below. So i downloaded a screen side by side aplication and a vr converter for my phone so i could play steamvr games with my phone and a cheap £20 headset. It all worked mostly fine but when i exited out of it my mouse cursor was invisible, i could still see where it is because of things changing when i hover over them so i restarted to try and fix it but it didn't do anything. So after about 5 minutes of trying to navigate blind i got chrome open and auto filled the ltt forum which brought me to the general topic, which is why this's posted here and not in troubleshooting but I'd rather not spend the next 10 minutes trying to find it. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know as its impossible to use my system like this and i don't have a clue on how to fix it.
  3. Whenever I try to watch any YouTube video on chrome I just get a grey screen as shown below. I've tried updating, disabling hardware acceleration, switching accounts, restarting my pc and other browsers but its just chrome that is giving me this issue. I've used the pc with this installation of chrome for over a year and never had any issues like it, does anyone else have this issue and/or know a fix for this?
  4. @GDRRiley Do you think £250 is a decent deal on a 60D, it comes with a EFS 18-55mm Lens.
  5. Ok i will look around for a reasonably priced one.
  6. I don’t have a specific budget in mind, maybe around the £350 mark but I’d be happier a bit lower as my plan is to buy a dirt bike and use it to travel to remote areas which might have never been photographed before
  7. I have wanted to get into photography for a while but the only camera i have is a finepix s2950 which is not the greatest. I would like to know what decent cameras for a low price you recommend, no requirements really just if it can do long exposure shots as that's something i want to try out, and ok low light performance.
  8. I’m sorry if this is in the wrong place but I didn’t know where to put it. So you’ve probably heard of the stories of people spilling water/drinks on there pc and when they turn it back on the here a loud pop or bang sound, what is it that actually makes that sound/ what parks could make an audible pop when covered in water.
  9. Is it ok for music though, I wouldn’t be using it much for watching YouTube, Netflix etc also have you tried adjusting the bass dial on the back of the subwoofer
  10. Thanks im probably going to go with them
  11. Ok thanks, so would they work with that record player and be able to swap between the player and my pc ok with the cables included or is there better quality cables or just buy some amazon basic cables like the ones in the frequently bought together.
  12. Yeah im not looking for some super high end speakers just something that makes a decent sound and get loud enough, i was thinking something like the Logitech Z333's fi you anything about them ?
  13. The razer nommo is just a bit much for me and the reason for the weird system is i was running a b450 tomahawk max but for some reason it died, i had been using it since the 2200g came out and decided to get an x570 board so when i upgrade cpu's (planning on getting a 3900x soon) i already have a suitable board, and i found the rx 570 for i think it was about £45 and it was worth the upgrade as i have a 1440p monitor and wanted to start playing a few games as i mainly used to do light editing with it plus integrated graphics dint get me much further than minecraft and after cleaning and re-pasting and some light overclocking the card runs perfect and can play most games 1440p medium-low at 60fps
  14. Ok so i got a record player as a present from a friend as a joke and i got some records to play but the sound quality isn't great and doesn't get very loud, i was wondering what would be a good pair of speakers for around £50 (around $60). I know nothing about audio and what i need so i will attach a picture below to show what ports are on the back. Any recommendation are appreciated !
  15. Well that’s a very odd choice of specs but that’s not the question at hand, make sure your using you cpus encoder in obs as that will not be getting used too much, as for the other setting such as bitrate you just need to experiment and see what works for you best for you, if you don’t want to play around too much then just look up tutorials on YouTube and go from there.
  16. Thanks I got it and its working fine
  17. So long story short i was watching the walking dead on my amazon fire tv stick and i lent it to a friend but now because of corona she's stuck in Germany. Anyway i wanted to continue watching it cause I'm finished every other series I've been watching but realised that its only on US Netflix and a few others but i don't want to buy a vpn to use for 2 or 3 shows and never use again, so i was wondering if there is any free vpn's that are legitimate and have actually worked for other people.
  18. Oh yeah didn’t think about that, guess it’s time to get rid of my steam powered one
  19. So I don’t sleep much especially during this quarantine so I stay up and watch Netflix or just do something, but I want to get hot chocolate and the kettle is too loud and I don’t want to wake people that are sleeping. I used to use the stove but it broke a few days ago and nobody is gonna fix for a while due to social distancing so is there any other quite alternatives to heat up water?
  20. I was wondering what would be the best headset for £100 (about $125), the use case would be casual gaming and listening to music. I was recommended the Audio Technica M50x's but i wanted to know if there were any other options out there.
  21. Thanks, there’s no point in cloning the drive as then I will still have the mcaffree pop ups and stuff plus the laptop has a ton of his old junk on it and I don’t think he’s too worried about it.
  22. So I’m planning on taking out the old 5400rpm hard drive from my old go laptop and replacing it with a Kingston ssd as I don’t need anything super high quality as this is an old laptop and I plan on using it for a few months and the selling it to a friend. Anyway, would I just approach it like I’m setting up a new pc by getting a usb, getting the media creation tool etc, or would it be different ? The only thing that could be an issue is drivers but I would think that windows should preinstall all the ones required, although I might need to get the intel ones as it uses integrated graphics. All I’m asking is are there any things I’m missing or need to do in order for this to work ?
