  1. My MSI GTX 1060 6GB Armour OCv1 showed a black screen when playing, after attempting to reboot fans would not spin and there would be no signal, I have tried to change thermal paste and flash new bios, but the card is not recognized by any PC, the PCB looks fine and I don't see any damage or missing components, is there anything I could try to do to fix it or is it safe to say its a goner.
  2. Sorry if I made my question unclear. What I meant to ask is if I should orient the fans on the 280mm AIO to pull fresh air into the case or push air out of it. As my case already does a good job pushing air out of my case.
  3. 1. The cooler was on sale and cheaper than most other coolers, and NOT bough by me, sorry if I made it seem like I bought it 2. I have case fans in their original position at the moment, when I tried changing their positions to create a more balanced airflow it just made CPU temps skyrocket and teammates started complaining about it.
  4. I have just ordered a corsair h115i platinum to upgrade my cooling from the stock AMD cooler that came with my Ryzen 5 2600. My case (NZXT H500) already creates great negative pressure so I was wondering if I should keep it like that or make the AIO pull in fresh air from the front? I'd prefer to have the fan RGB visible, but if I can get more performance by not having it so, then it's ok.
  5. I was thinking just that, as i'm planning on upgrading to a 3700x later around my birthday. I'm shopping in Norway with a 1750kr budget As for mobo and ram my motherboard is an Asus B450F strix and ram is corsair vengenace RGB PRO 16Gb 3200mhz
  6. I have a currently stock ryzen 5 2600 cooled by the cooler that came with it, im looking to upgrade due to the stock cooler being extensively loud and very high temps during normal usage. I am looking at a 240mm AIO, but having seen that people only use 240mm with higher end cpus, i was wondering if it would be overkill for a stock 2600. I am also looking into overclocking it for extra performance later on.
  7. Ok thanks, my friends use Intel and thought about if it was better to save up for it instead, but i stand corrected.
  8. Well i have heard that Intel is a fair bit faster than AMD on gaming and productivity, but is this a large difference or just minuscule?
  9. I am in Norway and can spend about 500USD / 5000 NOK. As for peripherals, i have a good keyboard, mouse and headset but lack a monitor
  10. Hi, im 14 years old and want to build my first pc. Coming from console and having a quite narrow budget my choices were not many, but im struggling to choose between Intel or AMD, im looking to achieve on par/better performance than console, and for a good while though of building a Ryzen apu machine. But then i saw that i would have much better performance once a discrete gpu was put in if i used Intel, the choice became much harder, so my choices are Ryzen 3 2200g and a Intel core i3 8100, im thinking of getting a Zotac 1660 later on. Looking to play csgo, do some light photoshop and youtube watching until i get a gpu, which is when ill be doing some more serious video editing and gaming.
