Hi folks! I'm struggling with the following scenario for a few days now and can't find a proper solution that allows me a 24h/365d bidirectional sync from and to google photos from my Synology DS216+II NAS: My wife and I are using G-Suite with our own "home domain" for collaborating our Office 365 business accounts, and private E-Mail and Calendars. We are also saving our private files and photos in G-Suite and using Google Home (it was the best solution as my wife uses an iPhone and I use a Galaxy S10). The Private Data gets bidirectional synced to our local NAS - I always want a second backup that I can control myself! That was easy to set up as Synology has an integrated app that lets me set up file sync between google drive and my file folders on my NAS. Now to the tricky part: My wife shoots photos with her I-Phone, I shoot pictures with my Galaxy S10. I downloaded the Synology Moments App on both devices, so the photos get synced to our home Server right when they have been taken. Now I want the photos to be also synced from Synology Moments to our Google Picture Library. Moments Photos are stored in a folder on the NAS I have access to in our local Network or over https remotely. What I've done to sync all the pictures taken until now is to just start the Google Backup Sync Windows app on our home computer and set up initial bidirectional sync. Now I want that to happen 24/7 365/d/y without the need of having our home computer run all the time.... What I was trying so far was to set up a raspberry Pi 3b+ with Chromium OS as I was sure that Chromium OG - A GOOGLE OS - will have a solution for that - guess what: NO, I could not find a way to get that sync app to Chromium OS. Same with Linux, what would be my second Idea to run that on the raspberry. Also no App from Google as with the windows or Mac version. Any Idea how to get this done without getting new hardware and without having me running our office PC all the time? A million thanks in advance!!!

Hi there. For loyalty resons I deactivated my ad blocker on LTT and do click one some ads from time to time to support the channel. Wouldnt it make more sense to open ALL ADS in a new tab instead of in the same window? The Ad to the LTX, for example, opens in a new tab - and that totally makes sense in my opinion. All other ads (Displate, Amazon,etc...) are opening in the same window what makes every user leave the LTT Forum for the ad company instead of giving them the possibility to shop in a new window/tab?!

Thanks so far @GeneXiS_X. If I need to cut out requirements I would remove these two: min 8 hrs around 1.75kg

Yes, that sounds great! We can upgrade the maximum price to 1.2k € if that makes a good change regarding to a 1.0k model!

You won't be able to place this machine around 50 Meters of where you want to sleep. Cooling fans with the sound of a V12 -
If just 8GB RAM upgradability would be great. Rest is fine, yes

I don't know the reseller price but you get the card for avg 380€ in Germany right now. When you take a look at how stable the prices for graphics cards are right now you can imagine how long it can take to fall that much -

1080 for 280€ looks like a fair price to me - depending on what you're playing that's more than enough for recent games. -

Ryzen 5 is a great option for CAD. I set up all office Machines of my wife (Architectural Office) with a Razen 5 - they are working with Auto CAD 2020, smooth like butter. -
Have it also beside my desk, fits perfectly. If you need pictures, let me know Ill take some
