That offset only applies to the software so you can keep track if there's any new bad sectors arise and other purposes, it doesn't actually change the S.M.A.R.T value or make the HDD any better

stability and extra headroom for overclocking mostly

    btw, stop using furmark, now

Depends on how good the Crimp Tool is he uses.

DIY ones from a local modder are probably also the better kind if he's making them himself because he's far less likely to be molding SATA connectors than he is to be crimping them. But you never really know without looking at them.

Essentially, you're looking to make sure that there is a healthy and permanent separation between each of the wires. Usually the crimped ones are very well separated and insulated from each other.

They look like the good kind. They aren't molded on the SATA end. The wires are crimped in there with a good separation between them.

The bad ones have the SATA end molded all together which results in naturally varying distances between the wires. Eventually some of them will bridge, heat up, melt, and catch fire.

Some people will say to stay away from any variation of these adapters, but these pictures at least show the better kind.

The ones you showed looked all not too bad.
The crimped ones were fine. The molded ones are the ones seen to burn sometimes.

The H60 2018 should be the quietest. The other 3 are pretty similar unless you're aiming for a heavier oc in which the L240 ends up being the quietest.
The Floe Riing seems to be one of the better performing ones if that's what you're aiming for. https://www.nikktech.com/main/articles/pc-hardware/cpu-cooling/liquid-cpu-coolers/8960-thermaltake-floe-riing-rgb-360-tt-premium-edition-liquid-cpu-cooler-review?start=6

At normal temperture and medium RPM, FDB is as good or better than Ball Bearing, without the noise disadvantage that 2BB has.

Ball Bearing in Consumper products make no sense no more.
The only exception where it might still make sense is GPU Fans. And that's about it.

For other stuff, the FDB is superior, for consumer.

Sleeve bearing are the worst - in any configuration, especially upside down. Ball bearing are the best for longevity, though they can be a bit louder at times.

The other types lay somewhere in between.

Totally normal with modern, good quality PSU (not all have that but many)

I wish I could give you a guaranteed yes but all I can tell you is it very much should. I see very little reason that it wouldn't.

Multi rail. Multi should be what it is set to as default out of the box for all Corsair PSUs that allow you to toggle the mode. Single Rail is really only preferred for extreme overclocking (LN2) where you may otherwise trip OCP on the multi-rail.

This video should do a better job explaining it.

In that case it's the latest HX model, and better than the RMx (HX is multi rail so preferred over the single rail 1000W RMx).

Working just fine, even CX450M worked.

Better overclocking, longer longevity with higher end unit
    Full modularity

Today I used a Vega on a be quiet Pure Power 10, 400W.
A Vega 64 to be precise.
Though not on default configuration but with -23% and went down a power state or two and reduced the voltage by 50mV as well.
Was at around 400W Primary, worked splendidly.

The Only Issues I have Encounterd were:
    a) Totally expected -> Bitfenix Formula 450W (single Rail for the GPU, works with two though)
    b) Delta DPS 500QB, two rails for the GPU but at 20A or so. And I don't want to mod that unit either.
    c) Seasonic P660...
Because there are other differences between lower tier/cost PSU and higher cost/tier PSU like used fan for example or noise.
The Fans in the lower end are, if you're lucky, rifle Bearing at best. In the higher end you get real FDB here and there.

i mean, if the txm is easiest to work with for you, I'd get that one

not because it's better from a quality point, just because it's better from your point

the cxm does, the cx (2017) doesn't anymore

the txm is a whole different platform from the cxm. the cx and txm on the greatwall version are somewhat similar, but not fully

conclusion: no whining issues I've heard of

txm is louder than the rmx, and in platform similar to the cx 2017, but some parts changed for making it 80+ gold. I'd say qualitywise the txm is on the same level as the pure power 11, and the rmx to the whisper
