  1. Ok thank you. Yeah after researching yesterday i also thought it might have smth do to with the fact that it is a VA panel. Do u know where to find those overdrive settings?
  2. Hey, i just bought a AOC G2490W1G4 which i am using as my primary monitor rn. my second monitor is a Acer XF240H. I have windows night mode enabled. i noticed that on the AOC screen when i move my mouse or scroll on for example spotify that the mouse/ the font gets a red ish shadow. But thats not the case on my acer monitor. when i disable night mode then there is also no red shadow... i just would like to keep night mode enabled. Do you know if there maybe are any monitor settings for the AOC monitor that i can change to solve this problem? Thanks.
  3. haha thanks. no its no app. u just press windows + A and this windows sidebar opens up on your screen. then there is this button called "connect" and you can connect your computer with other devices which support miracast. the connection is established through WLAN. the thing is if u dont have the version 6.4 it wont work and other devices simply wont show up. with my laptop its not problem (it has version 6.6) and i also found this cmd comman "netsh wlan show driver" which shows that my GPU support miracast but wifi driver doesnt. apparently there is nothing i can do about it, since i already have the latest wifi driver. so i just gave up.
  4. hey, so i am trying to get my computer hooked up with my smart tv via miracast. ive read that i need wlan ndis version 6.4 on my computer in order to do so. i am not exactly sure what is meant by that and how to to it. so according to the windows powershell command i do have wlan ndis 6.2. What do i need to update for 6.4? the drivers of the wlan stick or something on the motherboard? i cant find any new driver for my stick though... its a FRITZ WLAN USB Stick N. My mainboard is a ASUS Prime B350M-A. i also checked my GPU it supports miracast. hope u can help me! Thanks.
  5. ok i selected that profile and now it seems to work. in the profile it stated 3000mhz but its actually running at 2933mhz now, but idc. thanks guys.
  6. ASUS Prime B350M-A ok and if i select that xmp or whatever profile i dont need to change the frequency as i did before right?
  7. and i have to enable it or what do i need to do ? and isnt XMP intel standard? does every MB has that option?
  8. yeah ram 2 and 4 and i just changed the frequency wihthout anything else. where do i find this xmp option?
  9. hey im running a ryzen 5 2600 and just got 2 new ram sticks G.Skill Aegis 2*8GB 3000mhz CL16 (F4-3000C16D-16GISB) after i booted the pc for the first time afer installing the new RAM i changed the speed to 3000mhz in BIOS but the pc shut down immediatly after starting for like 3 times than it started normally again (but with 2133mhz) and i changed the speed to 2933mhz. the pc then booted normally but while i was gaming for 2min i got a blue screen. then i changed it to 2800mhz and now everythings running normally. my question is why cant i use the 3000mhz, let alone 2933mhz (which the r5 2600 is officially capable of)? My Mainboard also support up to 3200 mhz. The r5 2600 is officially capable of up to 2933mhz. Do you know what could cause that problem?
  10. will RAM which supports XMP 2.0 work with ryzen CPU? xmp is intel standard isnt it?
  11. what do you mean by memory train? how exactly would i do that?
  12. the thing is amd states that the r5 2600 only supports ram till 2933mhz. but i often read and hear that even though its likely to run with 3000 or 3200 mhz anyway. EDIT: and how do you know that more RAM would help? i mean the usage is about 70% so in my thinking that means that its enough...
  13. hey i just wanted to know how to know when its time to upgrade RAM so that my gaming experience (FPS) will benegit from it. i currently have 8GB of DDR4 2666mhz Ram (2*4GB) and while gaming i have a memory usage of 70-80%. another question: sometimes ingame im really low on FPS like 70-80 (all setting on low) even though my CPU and GPU usage are about 50-60% hows that? why wont the game utilize my components more/better so that i get more FPS? CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 GPU: AMD RX 480
  14. Ok thanks everyone for your help. I checked the pins and some of them were bend. im pretty sure that he did this purposely. So i spend the last hour getting everything straight again and now it works fine!
  15. Ok updated bios still nothing. Any advice ? Also tried cmos clear.
  16. I just put back back my r3 to do the bios update. Same problem now: pc won’t start. Yesterday it was working fine. I don’t know what’s wrong I checked all cables everything is where it is supposed to be.
  17. What do you mean by clear cmos? I should have the latest bios version. When I got my r3 I updated it like 4-5monts ago.
  18. Hey, so i bought a used r5 2600. my previous system was a r3 1200 based on. Today I got it and changed the CPU’s. After that my computer simply won’t start. Literally nothing. No fans starting, no sounds. So why could this be? I just changed the CPU i did not unplug anything. Everything is like before except a different cpu. Motherboard ist a ASUs B350M-A. Maybe i should mention that I ran into little trouble with the seller but he eventually send it. Could it be that he purposely destroyed the CPU and that’s the reason nothing happens? Looking forward to your answers.
  19. theyre only accuring when im playing a game and try to watch a stream or video at the same time one the 2nd monitor. and theyre for like 5-10 seconds and then things run smoothly again.
  20. thanks for your replies. So i just figured out that i dont have enough space for 2 GPUs. th thing is i really want 2 so i can have one seprate GPU for my main monitor to prevent the stutters... in this scenario the 2200g makes sense right? do u mean the speed by that? i think its 2x 4GB 2666 Mhz
  21. hey everyone, this is my first topic here so if it is in a wrong section - sorry. so i am thinking of giving my PC a little upgrade. Currently: Ryzen 3 1200 (OC @3.8 Ghz) R9 285 2GB 8GB DDR4 RAM i bought a Ryzen 3 2200G and a RX 480 8GB. i have 3 monitors, one is my main monitor for gaming (144hz) and the other 2 are 1080p 60hz monitors. While im playing videogames i also like to watch streams or videos and now i often get problems like blackscreens or stutters when doing that. (i read its cause of the difference in hz, and all monitors are plugged into the GPU.) So i was thinking i could plug the two 60hz monitors into the iGPU from the ryzen 3 2200g and my main monitor into the rx 480. My question: would it be better to run both GPU with the old one fpr the two 60hz monitors and the rx 480 for the main monitor? My thinking is that in that case the CPU wont have "to deal" with graphics output and that way its capable of giving its all for the CPU "part". In that case is it even worth upgrading the ryzen 1200 to a 2200g? What would you suggest?
