  1. Thanks for the reply! Looks like I have a loooot of things to learn about color and monitors. Also, how much difference do you think would there be between the Benq EX2510 and ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV? I know this is another dumb comparison because they are completely different resolutions and price but I'm mostly concerned about the color accuracy. If the ProArt is just slightly better then I'll just save the money and buy the Benq but if there is a considerable difference between the two I'll save up and go with the latter.
  2. The 3500x with 3200 Mhz will be faster. The difference will be marginal but with the 3500x you can overclock it in the future if you want to but that's not something you can do with the i5.
  3. Right now I'm using my iPhone SE (2020) to edit my photos since the photos i edit on my gaming laptop turn out completely different when I import them to my phone. I selected the Benq EX2510 IPS monitor which has an sRGB rating of 99% and has 144hz (I need it because I play a lot of csgo) and also fits my budget. How much of a difference will there be between this panel and my iphone in terms of quality and color accuracy?
  4. I am currently using a laptop with 65% sRGB rating to edit my photos and I was thinking of upgrading to the Benq EX2510 which is a 144hz IPS monitor and looks like a decent fit for me since I do play a lot of counter-strike as well. The only thing I'm wondering is whether it will be worth upgrading from my laptop's display to the Benq in terms of photo editing work. I'm just a guy who does it as a hobby so I could keep using my laptops display but if the Benq makes a noticeable difference I'll definitely consider upgrading.
  5. I am planning to purchase a new monitor for gaming and photo editing and decided on the Benq MOBIUZ EX2510 which has an IPS panel, 99% sRGB, as well as 144hz refresh rate. I would like to know how much of a difference would there be between the Benq and other monitors (in terms of photo editing related work) in the same price range such as the Dell U2415.
  6. I know this is a very dumb question but how much difference would there be between a Benq EX2510 144hz IPS monitor and my iPhone SE (2020) when it comes to photo editing? I normally use my phone for editing instead of my gaming laptop since I feel that it is more accurate but would the Benq be a good option for some occasional lightroom stuff?
  7. Is the 120hz stable or is it variable? I've read somewhere that its not true 120/144hz over hdmi but I'm pretty sure this is wrong.
  8. My Asus ROG Strix G has an HDMI 2.0 port and I was wondering if the monitor could run at 144hz if I connected it to my laptop because the monitor only HDMI 1.4 and not 2.0. I know that HDMI 1.4 can also support 1080p@144hz but it depends on the manufacturer. Can anyone confirm this?
  9. The Viewsonic and HP are 30$ cheaper but I wanna know which monitor would be the best choice overall considering I am into gaming as well photo editing.
  10. Thanks for the reply! I think I am going to go with the IPS but it means I have to return my 140$ shoe I just bought lol.
  11. I need a new monitor with 144hz to mostly play games but I also do some occasional photo editing and was wondering if it be worth it to spend around 90$ extra for an IPS 144hz panel like the BenQ Mobiuz EX2510.
  12. I put my g pro wireless on on-board memory mode a while back and now when I try to switch it back to normal I can't find a way to do it. There is no option on G Hub nor LGS. I can't change dpi, lighting, pretty much anything. The onboard memory options are just gone in GHub and LGS. I've tried renstalling both the softwares to no avail.
  13. Nope. I made sure to stop any unnecessary apps and disabled windows defender as well.
  14. I've been encountering a weird thing while gaming which never happened before. I installed doom and the game will play fine for a few minutes at a stable 90-110 fps and suddenly drop to 24-30 fps for about 30-40 seconds (even in areas where I normally get excellent FPS) and then back to normal. I've tried Vulkan and OpenGL and all the V-Sync options but it's the same. Moreover, this is also present in Assassin's Creed Origins although it is much less often. I play on a laptop and it has been thermal throttling quite a bit with my CPU going over 95°C and GPU peaks at 90°C. I did try undervolting and disabling turbo boost but the issue persists and I don't think it is due to the temps but rather something with the game because once the bug is over the games go back to smooth fps over 60 at all times even if the CPU is throttling. Any solutions? Laptop Specs : i7 9750h 8GB 2666 DDR4 RAM GTX 1650
  15. I'm currently using an ASUS ROG G531GT laptop with an i7 9750h and the idle memory clock of the CPU is always above 4 ghz but once I put it under any sort of load it throttles down to somewhere around 3.2 ghz. My laptop is on balanced power mode and I have never overclocked it. I applied a 0.120V undervolt and the processor still throttles under load and temps always go beyond 90°C while idle temps are around 65-70 °C. I haven't replaced the thermal paste yet since I'm out of them and I can't get any right now due to the pandemic. Any suggestions on how I can at least get the CPU clocks to go down when idle like a normal laptop?
  16. I recently got a new fiber internet connection but the problem is the only way i can access the internet is by using the Dial-Up option and manually connecting to the internet. Moreover, when I use Dial up my internet becomes about 5 times slower. I have been occasionally been able to automatically connect to the internet few times randomly when i turn on my PC . I have tried contacting my ISP but they can't seem to find a solution. In the image provided you can see 2 connections : 1 is the ethernet which shows as unidentified and the other is a WAN PPOE which shows up due to connecting through Dial up. I have tried using other DNS, CMD commands and updating drivers but nothing seems to work. Note : I am presently using the company's modem directly without a router.
