  1. RE: Video mistakes You made some duff videos, did it affect me? Would it ever affect me? No? Good. No Fs given then. You say your going to do better?, good for you, a pat on the back... Why are you crying? Cringe... Exit... At the end of the day I look at the stats of multiple products, read some reviews and skip to some graphs on a bunch of random YT channel suggest (the talky talky bits are mostly a waste of time anyway). Then I buy from one of the locations I trust who is the cheapest at the time. RE: GN VS LTT This was obviously coming, I was just waiting for who would find and fire the first shot. If Linus didn't see this coming then, ooof... Don't trust humans... LABS will do some damage to tubers like GN, Steve's perm will def' get even more grey. As for my opp', I don't care, as long as can get some stats from multiple sources on whatever I'm buying at the time, and not have to listen to too much talky talky... RE: HR issues I would like to hear about a "Depp vs Herd" situation between all parties involved after it's all done and dusted. That way I can skip all the crap dumb C's put on the internet and just get to the point and see who's F'd. RE: The most interesting part about all this Visit a few tubers channels and go to the video pages (including GN) and check the view count of their videos mentioning LTT and those that don't, check out who's milking the LTT train. Just saying, "i'm not monetizing, doesn't mean your not milking it, get em subs, likes, followers, public favour etc"....
  2. Doesn't say anyting about the 29th on that link which I have looked at nearly every day for the past week. See attached image. Also done CTRL F and searched for 29 (nothing found). Amazon now has it listed but 1 to 2 months delivery but amazon is never a good place for tech thats just come out prices are always out of wak.. UK btw.
  3. Still can't find this monitor anywhere... There are now rumors that it's not going to be released... I'm considering the XG43 instead, cheaper, bigger, freesync 2 etc If they did a version that doesn't waste it's time with HDR or GSync (nvidia verified freesync 2 would be better) or RGB or speakers or usb hub, might be worth it then... If they ever release it.
  4. Hi, Though I would share this with you, a monitor size comparison tool, might be informational / useful to someone somewhere: http://aftc.io/monitors D
  5. ah well... easy come.. easy go... Sorry to whomever i was talking to... if you get this message... I helped while I could... Good luck with the build.

  10. Going by image above, the room is 280cm (9.2ft) top to bottom, and 310cm (10.2ft) left to right...
  11. I would be about 2 to 5ft away from the speakers, depending on which side of the sofa I would be sitting on (I'm a corner seat kinda guy)... But when working I would be center room and about 4ft to 5ft away from both. I'm am thinking about mounting the speakers on the left and right of the sofa on stands rather than on the desk/table positions.
  12. I'm still google fooing which ones to get... Usage: 100% PC connected, no need for mobile connectivity etc PC Usage: 40% Music listening, 40% Movie watching and 10% FLStudio messing about (nothing professional, fun hobby, with my oxygen 49 usb keyboard) So now thinking of setting up 2 x JBL LSR308 on each side of the room... Not sure... Might be overkill, maybe the 305 is a better idea... Maybe the KRK 508 and 506 are the same?
  13. Some gifs 4 u... http://allforthecode.com/fun/gifs/all.php
  14. What do you guys think of the JBL LSR308 or the JBL LSR305? Is the 308 worth the extra cost? Is the 308 too much for a living room? Movies, gaming and music.
  15. Hi, I am in search for a replacement for my once loved Edifier S730. My current ideas are: 1. KRK RP6 G3 (pair) or KRK RP8 (pair), stands & foam or 2. Audioengine A5+ or ????????? The Edifier S730 was good but it was far too loud and far too much bass and not that good treble / mids. The speakers will be used for pc gaming, movies and music listening... And rare occasions of FLStudio use with usb keyboards. Suggestions, thoughts anyone?
  16. The issue is there's nothing else I need to buy. I'm not a fan of spending £20 on something I don't want / need so I can just get the addon item.
  17. Nope, only just started looking an hour or 2 ago after putting my machine back together. That's the one I found but I need to spend £20 to get it added to the order as its an addon item.... Thanks for info all... I will message super flower and see if they got any better options. Thanks
  18. Hi, I have a super flower 1000w psu and need an extra cable for it but am unable to locate anything that's not a full pack of fancy braided cables or a full set of them all costing way more than needed / what I need. I don't need colours or braiding or rgb or strobe lights or a disco ball, just functionality. Anyone know where I can buy a super flower modular power cable to allow me to plug in 3 extra sata devices? UK shop please or amazon.co.uk I can't find anything but a single extension cable here but have to spend £20 to get it shipped as its an addon item. Maybe there's a specific name for these cables and I don't know what it is. Anyone? Thanks
  19. Hi, My Tascam US 322 is starting to turn itself off for no reason and I think it's time to replace it. The question is with what? I don't need or do anything with a mic or guitar / any instrument recording, however I do plug in 1 or 2 usb keyboards from time to time to use with FLStudio, so latency here is required to be as low as possible. Requirements - Needs to have an output to my amp (it receives phono (rca) - Edifier S730) - Needs to have an output to my headphone amp (it receives phono (rca) - 02) - Needs to have low latency with FL Studio for when I use my usb keyboards Everything I find is boasting about mic inputs and amps etc, which I don't care about and not much or no information that matters to my needs. My current short list is: - Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 2nd Generation (I think this may be overkill) - Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 2nd Generation (My leading contender) - Behringer U-PHORIA UMC204HD - Behringer UMC404HD - Roland RUBIX24 - Steinberg UR22 MKII I also found that my Tascam US322 doesn't work at all in ubuntu, I was lucky enough to get the internal speakers in my monitor to work when using ubuntu, it would be nice if it worked on linux but this is not a must have as I spend most of my time in win10 due to adobe creative suite requirements. What are your thoughts & recommendations? Thanks
  20. Web Design (in the industry) is someone whom draws pretty pictures and works with graphics all day. Web Developer (in the industry) is the person whom takes the design and programs it, bringing it to life and making it functional. Wordpress Developer is the person whom browses themes and plugins all day and hacks what they have installed to do what they want anyway they can. NOTE: There are Developers whom specialise in front-end and back-end only. Front end (Client side) = HTML, CSS, JS etc (more visual) Back end (Server side) = PHP, .NET, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Ruby, Python, WebServices, Server & Database admin etc (more data driven) If you want to be a web developer: 1. Learn HTML (know xml?) 2. Learn CSS (progress into SASS/SCSS/LESS later) 3. Learn a little JavaScript (jQuery basics at least) 4. Python (as well as Ruby) are used for Websites, however are not common (shared servers/hosting) and in my experience best avoided for Web. Your best served learning PHP or .NET (C#) depending on which direction you want to go (PHP & MySQL = FREE, .NET C# VisualStudio SQL Server = PAID) 5. Learning PHP or .NET (c#) has 100s of videos on youtube and both have their own documentation websites with code samples. Don't know something? Google it, chances are you will find 10+ websites with code samples to try, workout and make your own. 6. Learn SQL and start to work with a database of sorts MySQL is free, comes with most hosting packages and can be installed on both linux and windows for free (xampp for windows, via terminal for linux - google for both, simple stuff) 7. Master CRUD then REST If you want to be a web designer: 1. Open Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator 2. Google/YouTube search "website design", "photoshop tutorials", "illustrator tutorials" 3. Folder and Name your layers accordingly or you will piss off the web developer If you want to make desktop applications: You can use VisualStudio, Java, Adobe AIR etc
  21. function (argument1,argument2){} <xml myattribute="attr1"> <div data-myattrib="attr2"></div> var myParam = 1; var myParam:String = "param1"; String myParam = "param1"; myFunction (myParam1,myParam2);
  22. For Windows machines: 1. Download and install XAMPP or WAMP (XAMPP is my pref') 2. Once installed you will have Apache, PHP & MySQL installed (typical installation) 3. When server is running (make sure to start apache and mysql services from the xampp window) you can type 127.0.0.1 or localhost in your web browser to reach the web root folder. Here you will have links to PHPMyAdmin which is the standard MySQL web based database management software (PHP). 5. Web root will be in your installation folder of XAMPP / htdocs (make folders for your projects in this folder and browse them via the web browser) 6. For Visual Studio C# VB etc applications just google "C# MySQL connection string" or use visual studio database connection features, for PHP just google "PHP MySQL connection string" and you will be good to go in about 5 minutes. 7. If you want a more professional tool for working with MySQL which is FREE, download and install MySQL Workbench (as good as if not as good as visual database design with SQL Server tools) 8. Once you get past simple CRUD functionality, Google "WebServices [language of choice]" and "RESTFUL or REST WebServices" 9. Make sure you never store unencrypted passwords in the database (Google [language your using] password encryption 10. Make sure your not vulnerable to SQL Injection (PDO & MySQLi have methods of handling this, parameter binding etc) 11. Google "Relational Database Design" 12. Google "MySQL Triggers" 13. Google "MySQL Stored Procedures" 14. Google "ORM" --- on and on and on.... For Linux - just google "linux [distro your using] lamp install", will give you a list of "sudo apt-get install xxxx" commands to type into terminal General / Basic SQL for beginners can be found here: https://www.w3schools.com/sql/sql_select.asp
  23. Hi, I am looking to setup a multiple headphone and mic environment local where people are able to sit and talk using headphones (GOOD QUALITY FOR MUSIC) and mic without waking the neighbours. Suggestions? Thanks Sar!
