You say your IQ is negative, but you love Java. Don't be too hard for yourself man! Seriously!
Java is really not that easy (i failed twice on that one in school and gave up on it).

Anyway, i do know react is quite often used for android apps. I haven't really worked with it myself but the programming guys at school mainly used that when they were working on android apps.

Swift, not just because it is easier but because if your app flops you could still get a well paid job. Swift is easy to use, intuitive, and it is replacing Objective-C. It was also developed by Apple for iOS MacOS and the new iPadOS and the rest.

Swift is just the better option 100%. For an editor the only one I could recommend for iOS development is XCode.

Anyone recommending Objective-C is objectively wrong. Apple is pushing Swift to be the primary language for development of Apple products. Objective-C is becoming outdated, I cannot make it more clear. USE SWIFT

Today I woke up at noon for whatever reason. I saw my cat laying near me (the one pictured below). As I went to pet her little head, something felt off. I did not realize how bad this day was going to be until I touched her little head. It was cold. I was instantly stunned, got out of bed, sobbing my ass off. This was in the span of 2 minutes after waking up. I yelled for anyone in the house to help. My little brother was the only one home. I got my phone to call my mom asap but it was dead. I quickly got on Facebook, told my stepdad to get home asap because our princess has died. They rushed home and we wrapped her in a blanket, brought her to the vet to get cremated, tried to eat (I couldn't eat, not even my fat-ass nature could help me). This was the worst day of my life.

Her name was Wiggles and we got her when I was 3 (I am 16). She was super healthy and happy up until her last moments alive. Other than the checkups my family did with her, no vet visits ever. She had fun, ate healthy (but still was chubby), socialized with our other 3 cats, socialized with humans. The only time she was ever unhappy was when we moved and tbh none of our cats liked it. She was one of two cats of ours that have died (one died a few years back from a poisonous spider in the garage, which from that point on we took all possible precautions to protect the rest of our cats). She was our 2nd oldest, our oldest being Tom (who is 14). She and Tom were awesome to each other (tom and wiggles in pic 2, stealing one of our dogs doggy bed). She always went to cuddle me when my depression got super bad, and she always squeaked at me when she knew i needed love (she never meowed only squeaked).

One reason I refer to pets as furry children is losing them hurts almost as much (sometimes, even more) as losing a real child. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Your comment about Wiggles sqeaking reminded me of a cat some friends of mine had who chirped like a bird instead of meowing. They had another cat who comforted me once when I was visiting and was upset over something (the dog they also had then was also trying to cheer me up). Even thought the three of them were not mine, I still miss them.

The GUI in Linux is not specific to the version of Linux that you are running so you can normally pick a distro that suits you and run the Desktop Environment that you want on it.  Ultimately they can all be significantly customised to look how you want so there is limited value to recommending a specific one.  If you want some examples of what is available these links might be helpful:

So I found an easy way to fix this on any distro.
Considering you already have Minecraft this should not be a problem but make sure you have Java 8 Runtime (NO HIGHER NOR LOWER, will not work otherwise).

First install techniclaucher from https://www.technicpack.net/download and get the Forge 1.12.2 mod "pack" where they have forge installed and working. After installing goto modpack options, open the install folder, go to the mods folder in there, and put your mods there.

I originally come from the Windows, since that's what I grew up with (starting from Windows 95).
The first Linux distro I had seen was Fedora, on a friend's desktop, running GNOME 3.

I personally started with Lubuntu (to make things easier on the family, this was an old desktop where Windows XP was failing on (hardware was/is perfectly functional), but later moved to Arch, with (a heavily modified by me) GNOME 3.

Nowadays my favorite (and main) distro is Solus, due to it's simplicity and stability, without going over the top to either direction (meaning too simple or "too" secure, nor the opposite, while requiring sanity with package management, as in reproducibility and simplicity (without overengineering, and without forgetting to deal with anything that needs to be dealt with).
Plus, it is great for me, as a rolling release that is stable (yes, you heard that right, and I do not mean outdated, nor LTS (though you can install LTS versions for some things, such as the kernel, and older NVidia drivers, meant for older GPUs), but also curated, which helps me concentrate on what I actually need to do, rather than experimenting and managing the system 98% of the time (Arch is stable, and does not get in the way, but I kept experimenting, especially compiling via the AUR all the time).

they aren't really losing anything, in fact they are gaining more of a userbase at the cost of more development and debugging time.
if a game was compatible on linux, windows, xbox one, PlayStation 4, Nintendo switch, IPhones and most android phones. thats a huge userbase.
while the linux userbase is small, their resources they have makes up for that as unity can ask them for help in working with native Linux library's and can even help imporve those librarys by recommending changes they could do to improve it. (it's not uncommon for the linux dev userbase to help themselves in this way)
and since android is based on linux, android performance may actually improve a bit.

Nettly_ got a reaction from RockyRZ in iMore's reply to Linus on why macs are slower than PCs
As an Apple hater, I can still say the fact Linus saying "Macs are slower than PC's" is actually dumb.... Depends on more than 3 fucking factors.... in PC's there are MILLIONS of possibilities on it being slower than Mac... or even faster.... Linus pissed me off by saying that because yeah the data from the Mac helps.... but I have seen worse data on Windows and sometimes (but rarely) on Linux too. I can make a video "Mac is slower than Linux, here is why" or "Linux is slower than Mac, here is why" and both are correct but also wrong at the same time. "Windows is slower than Mac here's why" is another thing I can do. The simple fact is there are defects, issues people have while others don't. Contrary to popular belief computers are not predictable. They can fuck up for no reason but that doesn't mean the hardware or device is bad, you might have gotten unlucky with a broken OS, a broken CPU, GPU, whatever, RAM too. There is no one situation and honestly... no one buys macs for the speed, they do it for looks and flexing.

Also no I do not own a mac, but I use several at school. How my school affords it? No clue.

One question though. Is it really that hard to get that module working under Ubuntu (or any distro for that matter) to where you have to resort to Gentoo and similar distros (I mean, I found an article on askubuntu within two minutes of me reading your post: https://askubuntu.com/questions/607707/ath10k-installation )?

Ubuntu if you just need a computer with Linux and you do not care about software (in terms of fully working up to date)
    Debian if you hate yourself
Arch if you are a person who likes to brag
An LFS system if you want to brag more than Arch users
    Solus is good for anything
