  1. Tried booting with a gpu, still no display
  2. Are you saying my bios might not support the on board graphics? But does support the cpu side? If so I’ll try a gtx 980 I have lying around and see if I can get an output from there.
  3. So I just bought a used Msi b350m pro gaming motherboard in which I installed my ryzen 3200g as well as 8GB of XPG RAM. I also know for a fact everything works except for the motherboard since I previously sold a case/mobo combo that had these parts installed in it. Also I’m using integrated graphics. So I go to boot the pc(shorting the power pins) on the motherboard’s box and I get a cpu light on the ez debug section then the light goes out, the fans are all running and no more debug lights flashing. All other lights on the mobo are lit(just mobo accent lights). I’m not sure if maybe the cpu is having an incompatibility issue due to old drivers (figured the cpu light would stay on though) , or maybe the mobo is just bad?
  4. I’ll definitely take that into consideration once I have the temps figured out. Thank you.
  5. Will definitely take a look at the standoffs, thanks.
  6. Probably going to get a hyper 212 and call it a day, just ideally want a decent oc with nice temps.
  7. Well i did some cinebench tests and PBO was giving me scores in the 1500s while the 4.2ghz oc gave me 1667.
  8. So I spent some time with my new processor gaming and all but I noticed it rarely hit its 4.4ghz boost. After running some tests and keeping monitoring programs up, I found out it was hitting 80-90 degrees before it throttled as low as 3600mhz. And of course with a decent oc it even hit tjmax and shut off on me(scared me to death). So why am I freaking out? I have a Corsair h80i v2 pulling from the front of my case and a 5700xt pumping a little heat has well. My question is, is my aio functioning properly? I even reseated it and all with new thermal paste a few times, and did a stable 4.2Ghz overclock at 1.35v but even then it will still hit 88 degrees after 5-10 minutes. Do I have bad airflow possibly? Bad pump in the aio? Or can the aio only dissipate so much heat? I’m on the verge of going back to air
  9. Much appreciated, I’ll likely test it out first before grabbing a new cpu. I’m upgrading from a gtx 980 to the 5700 so I’m Hoping to see decent gains.
  10. So I just bought a evoke rx 5700(I’m gonna fix the bad thermal pads). I was going to flash it to a 5700 xt and overclock it but I currently have a Ryzen 5 2600 sitting at 4GHz(paired with 24GB of Ram) and I just wanted to ask the community if I should just upgrade to a 3600 or wait it out a little ? I’m trying to game at 1080p 144hz and don’t want to see anything really over a 5% bottleneck so what can y’all recommend? Thanks also I have a Asus prime b350 plus mobo
  11. I'll give it all a try with a loaner cpu as my last resort, Thanks.
  12. Yeah I think I'll ask for a boot kit and see if that fixes my problem
  13. The mobo even flashes with it powered off. Is that normal?
