Hello Linustechtips community,
I've been running this system for a while now and so far so good. But being naked, it does catch dust. So far, i've been using the compressed air cans to blow them away but i'm looking for a more permanent solution.
I'm posting here to garner comments on how i should go about it, and at the same time to thank SPOTSWOOD for building this custom workbench.
So far the only idea i have is to make a cube of acrylic but i'm a little concerned about the air flow when it's place. Once i run out of space i'll be installing another 14 HDDs to fill up all the empty bays and that will in turn bring vibration and heat. Plus the flat surface at the top will be a nesting ground for dust.
What do you guys think? Comments and critics are welcome!
