  2. All you Asus X99 Deluxe owners are you successful in setting up NIC teaming using the Intel I218V and an I211 NICs? or perhaps can anyone suggest a different method of setting up a Static Link Aggregation Team? The only other article i can find out there is for the insider preview. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/a83f1da6-b6b9-46b9-b589-8964fa473fb6/nic-teaming?forum=WinPreview2014General
  3. Hello Linustechtips community, I've been running this system for a while now and so far so good. But being naked, it does catch dust. So far, i've been using the compressed air cans to blow them away but i'm looking for a more permanent solution. I'm posting here to garner comments on how i should go about it, and at the same time to thank SPOTSWOOD for building this custom workbench. So far the only idea i have is to make a cube of acrylic but i'm a little concerned about the air flow when it's place. Once i run out of space i'll be installing another 14 HDDs to fill up all the empty bays and that will in turn bring vibration and heat. Plus the flat surface at the top will be a nesting ground for dust. What do you guys think? Comments and critics are welcome! More images here. 4. Oh wow. I guess I missed the most important piece of information. Haswell-e doesn't support ECC. Thanks for your inputs guys. I guess I'll have to stick with 64GB of ram then.
  5. Been looking around at the choices of x99 motherboards out there but it seems that only asrock is offering support for both ECC and 128 GB ram. The choices from Asus, gigabyte and even the MSI ones all specify on their page that they only support up to 64GB. Does anyone know the reason to this?
  6. There is numberphile. By the same university. Then you can also follow some of the people who makes the videos. They have their own channels.
  7. Holy .... You are my savior. Been searching around for something like that. Thanks for sharing it
